Brandin Podziemski has been in the hot seat as of late, with reports that Podziemski plans on counteroffering the Golden State Warriors’ initial contract extension, potentially demanding more money. However, many believe that Podziemski isn’t worthy of a contract at all, given his recent performance.
On Sunday, Podziemski missed a clutch 3-point shot that could’ve helped the Warriors beat the New York Knicks, and fast forward to Monday, Podziemski accidentally scored a basket on the opposition’s side of the court. The NBA world is now flaming Podziemski for it on social media.

The Warriors took on the Washington Wizards on Monday. Golden State managed to come up with a 125-117 victory despite a questionable play from Podziemski.
During the third quarter of Monday’s game, with 1:12 minutes remaining on the clock, Podziemski attempted to go for a rebound. He found himself rebounding the ball with his teammate, Ömer Yurtseven.
Looking at the footage, it seems Podziemski intended to give way and allow Yurtseven to secure the board. However, his actions backfired, leading him to accidentally score on the opposing team’s side of the court.
The NBA world couldn’t help but express its thoughts on what transpired on Monday. Some of them noted how pissed Podziemski’s teammates were at him and suggested that they are now growing tired of him.

Thankfully, Kristaps Porziņģis and De’Anthony Melton came up huge on Monday. Porziņģis added 30 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks. As for Melton, he put up 27 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Their efforts were enough to make up for Podziemski’s hiccup in the third quarter.
