Recently, the Salt Lake City Stars (G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz) announced that they had acquired the 29-year-old.
Via saltlakecity.gleague.nba.com: “The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, have acquired the returning rights to forward Kavion Pippen and a 2027 second-round pick from the Maine Celtics in exchange for guard Pedro Bradshaw.”

Pippen is coming off a season where he had averages of 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 68.0% from the field in 13 games (four starts) for Maine.
He has also played for the Austin Spurs and Long Island Nets over part of three G League seasons.
The former Southern Illinois star is the nephew of Chicago Bulls legend (and Basketball Hall of Famer) Scottie.

As for Pedro Bradshaw, he is coming off a season where he had averages of 10.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 38.7% from the field in 24 games for the Cairns Taipans (NBL).
The Celtics are currently the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-12 record in 33 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and will visit the LA Clippers on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, the Jazz are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 12-21 record in 33 games.
