LaVar Ball has shown himself to be many things since stepping into the spotlight a few years ago, but above all, his greatest accomplishment is being the father of three highly successful sons.
On Sunday, LaVar gathered Lonzo, LaMelo, and LiAngelo on The LaVar Ball Show, where the four shared a heartwarming moment.
LaVar Ball Shares Heartwarming Moment With 3 Sons
LiAngelo is the father of three children. Lonzo has a seven-year-old daughter, while LaMelo recently welcomed his first child, La’One, in 2026, who also appeared on the latest episode of LaVar’s show.
“It’s beautiful watching all you guys raise your kids…” Lavar shared. “I love watching you guys do what I used to do back in the day… I was proud since y’all came out the womb and I ain’t changed yet… Y’all together all the time. That’s the one thing I want to instill in y’all because if you don’t have nobody, you got each other.”

Aside from fatherhood, the Ball brothers have also enjoyed plenty of success in their careers, both on and off the court.
After being selected No. 3 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft, LaMelo established himself as one of the league’s most electric point guards.
In six seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, he averaged 20.8 points, 7.3 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game while earning his first All-Star selection during the 2021-22 season.

Lonzo, the No. 2 overall pick in 2017, was, to say the least, a high-impact role player during stints with the Lakers, Pelicans, and Bulls. Unfortunately, injuries took a significant toll on his career, resulting in two missed full seasons.
This past year, he briefly played for the Cavaliers before being released after 35 games. If this proves to be the end of his career, Lonzo can still call it a success, having played at the highest level for seven seasons and reportedly earning $122.9 million along the way.
LiAngelo’s basketball career, on the other hand, didn’t pan out the way he likely once hoped, but he still found success in the entertainment world. In 2025, he shifted his focus to music, releasing the hit song “Tweaker,” which finished as the best-selling rap song released in the U.S. that year by total units.
The Ball brothers’ most notable accomplishment, and what the trio is best remembered for, is their legendary run at Chino Hills High School. Led by Lonzo, LiAngelo, and a 14-year-old LaMelo, they finished with a perfect 35-0 and won all eight of their playoff games by at least 20 points.
LaMelo, now with the Minnesota Timberwolves, still has plenty of basketball ahead of him. Whether Lonzo’s playing career continues or not, he, LiAngelo, and, most importantly, LaVar will undoubtedly be rooting him on as he competes for a Larry O’Brien Trophy.
