As the New York Knicks entered Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers, little did anyone expect Timothée Chalamet to be there too.
Chalamet takes his love for New York rather seriously, as he flew to Indiana to boo Pacers’ fans on their home turf. He hyped up his beloved team, seeing them make the biggest comeback in playoff history and, of course, serving some extremely charming looks yet again.
Timothée Chalamet Had To Be Sitting Courtside As New York Knicks Faced Pacers for Game 3
Of course, the Oscar-nominated actor, known for his bold fashion choices and diehard love for New York, had to be present. Not only did he witness New York make the massive 106-100 comeback in the seven-game series, but also captured limelight for the way he cheered the team on.
Sporting a half-buttoned striped shirt, bright blue sweatpants with overtly big graphic symbols, layered chains, and sunglasses, Chalamet was in his rhythm. Sipping drinks, getting all riled up and animated has become his basketball persona now. Sitting courtside, he was the biggest noisemaker representing New York, along with millions of other fans.
The way he’s hyping up the Knicks is a breath of fresh spirit. He definitely stole the spotlight in ways only he could’ve achieved. Check it out:

For a long time now, Timothee has been a Knicks “superfan”, and is present in almost all the Knicks games from the courtside, plastered on the jumbotron, and even on social media. He’s making it a point to show his true Manhattanite every single time.
He’s also got his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, and sister Kendall hooked to the Knicks as well, as they too made a few appearances with him in the past few weeks.
Chalamet – The Knicks’ Biggest Cheerleader
The Dune actor is a native Manhattanite who grew up in an apartment in Hell’s Kitchen, just a 15-minute walk from Madison Square Garden.
As the Knicks made history to reach the Conference Finals in over two and a half decades, he’s made it a point to be present in every single game and does not shy away from poking his head out of his SUV to celebrate with New Yorkers on the street. Despite his busy filming schedule, his affection and fandom for the Knicks are pretty serious.
Flying to Indiana, Detroit, and even skipping the Met Gala, and turning the Jenner sisters into Knicks fans, reflects his passion. And he does it ever so fashionably, with a strong wardrobe to represent his love for New York.
He shouts, screams, throws a frenzy, does everything a New York fan would, without caring he’s being watched by millions across the world. On May 23, in the second game of the seven-game series against the Pacers, he was seen reacting rather loudly to a call in the first half of the game.
