Tyrese Haliburton has quickly become one of the NBA’s best players since being traded to the Indiana Pacers in 2022. He began his career with the Sacramento Kings after being drafted 12th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. With him throughout the journey has been Haliburton’s long-time girlfriend, Jade Jones.

Who Is Jade Jones, Tyrese Haliburton’s Girlfriend?
Jones was born in January 1998 and was raised in Iowa. She was a cheerleader in high school and attended Iowa State University. Before going to college, Jones worked at an elementary school while she was pursuing the idea of being a school teacher.
Jones and Haliburton met while the latter was a member of the Cyclones basketball team. She continued cheering in college, and they began dating in 2019. Haliburton entered the NBA Draft the following year.
She posted a heartfelt Instagram message after leaving school, thanking the cheerleading team, and what cheering had brought to her life. “Cheerleading has carried me on a journey that I will never forget.” She wrote, “Iowa State Cheerleading will forever hold a spot in my heart. To the future of this program and my cheer family, I know y’all got me. ”
Jones has described herself as Haliburton’s “biggest cheerleader,” and she has proven to be one of his biggest supporters by attending many of his games. Jones traveled with Haliburton and Team USA during the 2024 Summer Olympics. The Pacers’ point guard did not play much during the Olympics, but the couple celebrated Team USA’s gold medal victory.
She posted a picture to Instagram with the message, “From dreams to reality!! you did it, my GOLD medalist! I am so beyond proud of you!!! We’re just getting started!!” The couple celebrated six years together earlier this season, and she commemorated the moment with another hearfelt Instagram post.

Jones wrote, “6 whole years of loving you. Every single day you continue to amaze me!! You make this world shine so incredibly bright and I’m so lucky to spend life by your side. You are so special to me, our love is one in a million- My best friend forever & ever!! I love you.”
The couple had some free time recently after the Pacers closed out the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Haliburton averaged 17.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in the series, including a clutch shot to win Game 2.
Jones and Haliburton have gained more media attention thanks to the latter’s impressive play since joining Indiana. The long-time couple is hoping for another celebratory Instagram post during a potential Pacers’ championship parade.
