As one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, it’s safe to say Tom Brady has mastered the art of throwing a football. Now, he’s working on his ability to be a slap-fighter, too? Like Karl-Anthony Towns, we’re not exactly sure what’s going on here either.
All we know is that on Friday, Brady was attending the Fanatics Fest in New York City, and… somehow he ended up slapping the crap out of WWE wrestler Logan Paul.
Tom Brady Suddenly Slaps Logan Paul, Towns is Still in Disbelief
As noted, Brady’s right hand struck Paul, right in the face, so strongly that it could likely be heard from every seat in the building. Yet, Towns had a first-row seat to the action, standing literally inches away from Brady and Paul as tensions flared. He separated them and prevented the scuffle from reaching another level.
Unfortunately, it’s too loud to be able to pick up on the conversation between Brady and Paul from the clip below, but perhaps a master lip-reader could decipher the words coming out of Brady’s mouth.

Based on his reaction, Towns may have had no clue that the discourse would reach these levels, even though he was right there, listening to every word and watching their every move. Yet he didn’t hesitate to take action to help break up the two athletes before things got even worse.
In today’s age, chances are this was all just for show, in another attempt to make sure people had enough to talk about in the aftermath of the latest Fanatics Fest. After all, if Brady really did have a physical altercation, he could potentially be in hot water.
The best guess is that this was a scripted scuffle agreed upon long before anything happened on Friday.
After all, do you really think a retired 48-year-old would really try to pick a fight with a wrestler who’s 17 years younger than him?
Yet you can’t argue it made for a good clip to spread on social media; plus, it probably made Brady feel like a tough guy for a bit, even if he knows it was all fake. As for Paul? It’s just the latest in a long line of publicity stunts to keep himself relevant, and once again, it worked. Here we are, talking about him all over again.
