Anthony Davis enjoyed a memorable six-year spell with the Los Angeles Lakers and played a crucial role in their 2020 NBA championship run.
The 10-time All-Star has now revealed which player from the Lakers’ roster he misses the most, and it is not LeBron James.
Anthony Davis Opens Up About Which Lakers Teammate He Misses Most
Davis left the Lakers in February 2025 as part of a blockbuster trade that saw Luka Dončić head to LA. The 33-year-old reminisced about his Lakers stint on his new show, “Foul Play with Anthony Davis.”
On the latest episode of the show, Davis teamed up with Austin Reaves’ girlfriend, Jenna Barber, to prank the Lakers star. During the episode, he also revealed that Reaves is the former Lakers teammate he misses the most. Reaves joined LA after going undrafted in 2021 and formed a strong partnership with Davis.
“That’s my guy, bro. I miss him. Out of everybody on our team, I really miss him. That was my guy,” Davis gushed.
“This one today is a little special. Not only is he a great player, but he’s an even better guy. So naturally, I decided to use that against him,” the Washington Wizards star added.

The elaborate prank involved making Reaves judge a charity endurance contest. The contestants made Reaves do hilarious, awkward tasks, and he later came to believe that he owed two contestants from the challenge a car and $250,000 each.
The Dallas Mavericks traded Davis to Washington in February. He has been sidelined with a finger injury since January and has yet to make his debut for the Wizards. The forward averaged 20.4 points and 11.1 rebounds per game in 20 appearances this season.
Reaves remains a key part of the Lakers’ roster. The 27-year-old played an important role in helping LA clinch the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference this season. The guard averaged 23.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists across 51 regular-season outings.
Reaves’ future will be one of the Lakers’ biggest talking points this offseason, as he is set to be one of the headliners of this summer’s free agency class.
