Stephen Curry’s Sneaker Free Agency: Warriors Superstar Considering 3 Brands After Under Armour Exit

Stephen Curry, a sneaker free agent, has trimmed his brand options to three. Find out the contenders for his next deal.

In November 2025, Stephen Curry parted ways with Under Armour, a brand long associated with the Golden State Warriors star. Frustrations and disagreements led both parties to end the partnership. At present, Curry is a free agent in the sneaker market.

That status may not last much longer, as he has reportedly narrowed his brand options to three.

Stephen Curry is Considering 3 Sneaker Brands

Since entering sneaker free agency, Curry has been seen wearing several brands during games and practices. One of his most notable gestures came when he wore a pair of Kobe’s to honor the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi.

Curry was also spotted in Reeboks, prompting Shaquille O’Neal to tease a potential partnership.

While speculation has linked Curry’s brand to Nike or Reebok, no agreement has been finalized. However, according to a recent report, his sneaker free agency may soon reach a conclusion.

Sole Retriever’s Drew London reported that Curry has reduced his options to three brands. ANTA was the only one disclosed, while the other two remain unidentified,

“Sole Retriever can exclusively report that Stephen Curry has narrowed his potential landing spots to three sneaker brands, and ANTA is among them,” London wrote.  “We can’t say just yet who the other two brands are in the race.”

During this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend, Curry was seen working out with Kyrie Irving and the WNBA’s Sabrina Ionescu. While it is not unusual for players to train together, Curry drew attention for wearing a pair of Curry shoes not yet available on the market.

Sole Retriever posted images on X of Curry wearing ANTA Enclosion Type 2 sneakers featuring his signature logo.

This does not confirm a deal. The shoes may not be considered a signature Curry model, and adding his logo could simply be part of the manufacturing process.

London highlighted Curry’s connection to Klay Thompson, who is signed with ANTA and was rewarded with his own lifetime deal. Curry and Thompson, famously known as the “Splash Brothers,” were central figures in the Warriors’ dynasty, winning four championships together.

London also noted that ANTA last month purchased a $1.8 billion stake in PUMA, becoming the largest shareholder in the sportswear brand.

What these connections mean for Curry’s sneaker future remains uncertain, but expect a deal to be made soon.
