James came into the night with averages of 22.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 50.2% from the field and 32.1% from three-point range in 29 games.

He is in his 23rd NBA season (and eighth with the Lakers).

The Lakers are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 28-18 record in 46 games.

They are 16-10 in 26 games on the road (and 5-5 over their last ten total).

Following the Wizards, the Lakers will head to New York City for a showdown with Jalen Brunson and the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

As for the Wizards, they are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 12-34 record in 46 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (but 2-8 over their last ten).

Following the Lakers, the Wizards will host DeMar DeRozan and the Sacramento Kings on Sunday in Washington, D.C.
