NBA Fans Call For Bronny James Change After Lakers’ Embarrassing Loss To Hornets
Gabe Vincent had a tough performance, finishing with just one rebound while shooting 0/7 fro the field and 0/5 from three-point range in 15 minutes of playing time.
His play was one of the reasons fans are calling for Bronny to get more minutes:
@Javierxbt: “Gabe Vincent’s audacity to stay on the roster is either peak loyalty or the Lakers’ secret plan to redefine ‘invisible defense.’ At this point, even Bronny might bring more sparks. Is this a tactical masterclass or a highlight reel of missed opportunities?”
@mk_caro2: “Bronny wouldve made atleast 4 of those 3’s”
@LeBron__legacy: “I genuinely think Bronny James would provide more than Gabe Vincent at this point”
@puppydoncic: “Bronny needs more minutes than gabe they treat my boy like a joke 💔”
@BummiNAnderson: “May as well play Bronny!”
Bronny has yet to get consistent minutes in JJ Redick’s rotation through his first two seasons as a pro.
He is currently averaging 1.6 points and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 34.2% from the field and 35.0% from three-point range in 22 games.

With their loss to the Hornets, the Lakers dropped to 24-15 in 39 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games (and are 11-8 at home).
Following the Hornets, the Lakers will play their next game on Saturday night when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
After a strong G League season during his rookie year, Bronny has also spent a lot of time with South Bay in 2025-26.
He is currently averaging 17.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 62.5% from the field and 46.7% from three-point range in three regular season games.
The Lakers are coming off a season where they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
They last made the Western Conference finals during the 2023 season.
