The Chicago Bulls are dealing with some injuries, which will leave them underpowered when they host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. Here’s the latest on who’s on their injury list ahead of that matchup.

The Bulls do not have a lot of names on their injured players list, but the absences they’re dealing with could still have an impact.
The most notable one is Josh Giddey, who is expected to miss his eighth straight game. He was diagnosed with a left hamstring strain at the end of December and is expected to miss more time, including Wednesday night’s game.
Big man Zach Collins, who has played in only 10 games this season, will also continue to miss time. He is dealing with a right toe sprain, and a definite return date has not yet been established.
Rookie Noa Essengue, who was drafted 12th overall in the most recent draft, will not be returning to action this season. He suffered a left shoulder injury, and his recovery will keep him sidelined indefinitely. He played in only two games this season, totaling around six minutes of action.
Guard Yuki Kawamura, who is under a two-way contract, is also out due to a lower leg injury. He has yet to play in a regular-season game this year and will likely see more minutes in the G League than on the main roster upon his return.
Wing Julian Philips is listed as out due to a right wrist sprain.
As an upside for the Bulls, guard Coby White was not listed on the team’s injury report. He will suit up after missing Tuesday’s game against the Houston Rockets due to injury management.
For Utah, forward Lauri Markkanen was added to the Jazz’s list of injured players. While Giddey’s continued absence hurts the Bulls, not having to face their opponent’s top scorer in Wednesday’s game should offer some relief.
With both teams missing leading scorers, there will be plenty of opportunities for other players to step up.
For the Bulls, White’s return could be significant, as he has missed five of the team’s last seven games. His comeback gives him a chance to reclaim his spot as the team’s top scorer. Guard Tre Jones, who had a career‑high 34 points and seven assists against the Houston Rockets, is also poised for another strong performance.
