It’s the final weekend before the NBA regular season begins, which means you’re coming here for your fantasy basketball drafts.
Should you draft Jalen Williams this season? Here’s the latest outlook, projections, and rankings for the Oklahoma City Thunder Small Forward.
Should You Draft Jalen Williams in Fantasy Basketball?
Fresh off his first All-Star and All-NBA campaign that culminated in him thriving as the No. 2 scoring option on a championship team, Jalen Williams could be poised to continue his ascent.
Williams turned in career highs of 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 1.8 3-pointers per game last season while shooting an efficient 48.4% from the field. The 24-year-old forward’s well-rounded production across 69 appearances made him an elite option in both category and points leagues despite sharing the court with 2025 MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
That said, Williams is still recovering from offseason surgery to repair a ligament tear in his right wrist. While he is reportedly making steady progress, the injury could delay his start to the 2025-26 campaign, in which he is expected to be a top 20 fantasy asset.
