On Wednesday night, the Charlotte Hornets are playing the Memphis Grizzlies for a preseason game (at home).
During the second half, 2022 NBA All-Star LaMelo Ball made an excellent pass that got a lot of views on social media.

LaMelo Ball Goes Behind-The-Back:
Via The NBA: “This LaMelo Ball pass was TOO SLICK 😮💨 Behind-the-back to the corner… and Miles Bridges cashes in his 5th triple so far!”

Ball is going into his sixth season in the NBA (all with the Hornets).
He finished the 2024-25 season with averages of 25.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 40.5% from the field and 33.9% from the three-point range in 47 games.

Ball is one of the best 25 players in the NBA (when healthy).
The Hornets are coming off a year where they were the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 19-63 record.
They last made the NBA playoffs during the 2016 season (when Kemba Walker was still on the roster).
With a healthy Ball, there is no question the Hornets could compete for a top-ten seed.
