The Boston Celtics squad showcased its elite skills during the 2024-25 campaign. They dominated the regular season with an impressive (61-21) record and also clinched a playoff spot.
The team carried that momentum into the postseason. They defeated the Orlando Magic in the opening round, which helped them build confidence for what appeared to be a deep playoff run. However, the New York Knicks eliminated them in the second round, leaving a bitter taste that has lingered throughout the offseason.
However, Celtics fans can rely on one thing: This team does not remain down long. Players have been going viral with serious training videos, and Jaylen Brown has specifically sent a message to the rest of the NBA.
What Warning Has Been Given by Jaylen Brown?
During his latest Twitch stream, Brown unmistakably challenged the league that the Boston Celtics will return stronger and more dangerous in the 2025-26 season.
“I’ve never not been in the playoffs. I have more playoff wins than 15 or 16 teams. I know what it takes. I know this group has it. I know what we can accomplish,” said Brown during the stream.

For Brown, this confidence doesn’t come from nowhere. But it’s rooted in years of consistent excellence and relentless competitiveness.
He was drafted third overall in 2016 and has grown from a promising rookie into one of the NBA’s most complete two-way players. Brown has appeared in every postseason since entering the league (except the 2020-21 season), which is a testament to his durability.
Last season, Brown put up impressive numbers. He averaged 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists across 63 games while shooting 46.3% from the floor. Those numbers came despite him managing a nagging meniscus issue in his right knee, which was a setback that forced him to adjust his usual explosive style of play.
Still, Brown remained a force in the postseason. He averaged 22.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists across 11 games. Later in June, he underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to repair the partially torn meniscus.
During the same livestream, Brown also encouraged fans by updating them on teammate Jayson Tatum, who sustained an injury during the 2025 playoffs.
“We’ll see when JT will come back. JT looked great, though, I’m not gonna lie. I have never seen anybody recover so fast from an Achilles injury, from any injury to that level. JT been- JT need to slow down.”
“No, JT has been going crazy. Ah, he’s going crazy, but he should slow down. Anybody with a drive and a work ethic and a passion for the game, I’m not surprised. No, for sure. No, no, he’s definitely a superhuman,” added Brown during the livestream.
Fans have already caught glimpses of Tatum’s recovery. Just days ago, a viral video showed him back on the court, draining jumpers with ease. The clip reignited debates online about whether Tatum, who was initially projected to miss much of the 2025–26 season, might make an earlier-than-expected return.
For now, though, all eyes turn to October 8, 2025, when the Celtics tip off their preseason against the Memphis Grizzlies.
