Greetings, WWE Universe! Pro Football & Sports Network welcomes you to our WWE SmackDown (June 13, 2025) live blog. This is your one-stop shop for real-time updates from the latest edition of the blue brand.
Tonight’s show will emanate from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, and will feature the fallout from Money in the Bank as well as King and Queen of the Ring matches.
The show will air live on the USA Network in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
We get a city scenic of Lexington, Kentucky as the crowd is shown outside the arena.
We see Jacob Fatu walking backstage, and then see the new Ms. Money in the Bank, Naomi, as well. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary. A recap video of Money in the Bank.
John Cena’s music hits, and ‘The Champ’ will start things off!
John Cena Is the Mount Rushmore of Wrestling
We get the now-usual detailed intro for Cena as the ‘Last Real Champion.’ He says the wrestling’s Mt. Rushmore is “John Cena, John Cena, John Cena and John Cena.” Cena mentions that there have been greats in the past, but nobody is close to him, not certainly from the current crop.
He talks about being one step ahead throughout his career. Cena mentions how he carefully planned his path from entering the Royal Rumble to winning the title at WrestleMania 41.
He says he backed CM Punk into a corner, and he now has to accept a match that proves he’s a hypocrite. He also says Seth Rollins will never cash in on him as he wants Cena to leave with the title so he remains the only World champion. He adds that fans won’t realize how good he is until after he’s gone.
“Wrestling has more than one Royal family.” Cody Rhodes is here!! Rhodes makes his way to the ring.

Rhodes says it is right that it is true Cena has it all figured out and yes, he’s the Mt. Rushmore, but his master plan didn’t account for Rhodes, pinning him at Money in the Bank.
*Voices* and Randy Orton is back!! He makes his way to the ring and tells Cena that he had him beat at Backlash. He says he doesn’t care who he has to go through during King of the Ring to get to number 15 and addresses taking out Rhodes if he has to. LA Knight’s music now hits and ‘The Megastar’ says he has heard the fans chant for him all week and he’s sure Cena’s plan didn’t figure him.
Knight’s says if he has to drop the Viper and a Nightmare, he won’t hesitate. He mocks Cena, who leaves the ring.
As Cena heads up the ramp, he’s attacked by R-Truth (Ron Killings) from behind as security intervenes.

We have our first commercial break.
Back from the break, we see Cena arguing with GM Nick Aldis backstage and we are all set for our first match of the night.
Randy Orton vs LA Knight vs Carmelo Hayes vs Aleister Black (King of the Ring Fatal 4-Way First Round Match)
Carmelo Hayes makes his way to the ring as LA Knight and Randy Orton are already here. Alesiter Black is out next and we’re underway.
Melo goes after Black and is thrown outside the ring. Orton and LA Knight go at it inside the ring as Melo makes his way back and rolls up Knight for a quick count. Melo is now surrounded by all three wrestlers as Knight throws him outside.
Black hits a moonsault on the outside to Melo and makes his way back to the ring. Orton, Knight, and Black have a standoff as we head to the break.
We return to see Knight stomping Melo in the corner, and then to Orton. Knight in control of the proceedings before Melo takes him down. Melo takes out Black as well and then connects with a reverse moonsault on Knight.

Black tries to stop him, but Melo sends him to the outside and hits a dive. Knight is able to catch Melo with a sliding dropkick as Orton drops Black back first onto the announcer’s table!
Knight gets Melo back in the ring and has him perched on the top turnbuckle. He attempts a superplex, but Melo sends him to the mat. Orton now attempts the same thing but is also sent away. Black jumps with a step up klck on Melo.
Orton and Black battle on the outside as Melo connects with a Frog Splash on Knight…1….2…and Black breaks up the pin.
Commercial Break
Black and Knight are battling it out before Orton and Melo get into the mix. Black nearly catches Orton with a ‘Black Mass’ but he escapes. Black now with a flurry of offense and takes down all three men.
Orton gets up and takes down each star with snap suplexes. He goes for a double-DDT off the ropes to Melo and Black, but Knight surprises him with a neckbreaker for a two count!
All wrestlers exchange offense, as LA Knight gets the better of them. He heads to the top rope, but Bronson Reed is here!!
He pushes Knight down as Bronn Breakker hits a devastating spear! Melo looks to take advantage, but Orton connects with a mid-air RKO FOR THE WIN!!

Jacob Fatu Talks Solo Sikoa Betrayal
Fatu makes his way to the ring as we see a video from last week’s SmackDown when Solo Sikoa talked about Fatu being all gas and no brains. We then get a footage of Fatu costing Sikoa at Money in the Bank.
Fatu takes the mic as the crowd chants “Fatu, Fatu.” Fatu says just because they are family, doesn’t mean they should take credit for their hard work. He says Sikoa thinks he made Fatu who he is and that Fatu is nothing without Sikoa. Fatu says that is why he had to remind Sikoa who he was.
Sikoa interrupts him on the Tron. He tells Fatu that nobody wanted Fatu here until Sikoa brought him to WWE last year. Sikoa says he will see Fatu next week in the ring, and he wants an apology, or he will take him out.

Backstage, Piper Niven and Alba Fyre tell Nick Aldis that Chelsea Green won’t be able to participate in the Queen of the Ring match tonight as she is away. Aldis decides to put Fyre in the match as Green is left shouting on the video call.
Zelinga Vega walks up to Aldis and says she wants Giulia, but the GM says she isn’t here. Vega says she will confront her next week.
Jade Cargill makes her way to the ring as we are set for our Queen of the Ring match.
Jade Cargill vs Piper Niven vs Nia Jax vs Michin (Queen of the Ring Fatal 4-Way First Round Match)
Cargill is out here as we go to a break.
We return to see Niven and Michin in the ring as Nia Jax joins them. Michin and Niven go at it as Jax goes after Cargill.
Michin takes Niven out on the outside, and Cargill handles Jax. Cargill and Niven get into the ring as they try to get the upper hand. Michin with a headscissors on Cargill, followed by a dropkick for a quick count.
Niven pulls Michin to the outside and slams her followed by a running senton. Inside the ring, Jax drops an elbow on Cargill.
Jax in control of Cargill as Niven runs in for a senton on Cargill. A temporary alliance between Niven and Jax as they beat up Cargill. She is able to fight back and sends Jax into the ring post. She then kicks Niven to the outside. Jax and Niven double team Cargill on the outside, but Michin delivers a moonsault, taking everyone out!!!
Commercial break.
Cargill fights off both Jax and Niven before they start dominating. Jax with a corner hip attack on Cargill as Niven connects with a cannonball and goes for the cover. Jax breaks it up as things break down between them.
Michin takes advantage and connects with a tornado DDT on Niven. Cargill hits a powerbomb on Michin for a two count. Niven is now back in the action and takes out Cargill, before Michin interrupts her.
Jax and Niven double to take advantage and go after Cargill on the outside. They send Cargill into the commentators desk and it takes out Wade Barrett!!
Inside the ring, Michin hits a spinning DDT on Niven, before Jax and her double chokeslam her. Jax attacks Niven and hits an Annihilator on Michin, but Niven breaks up the three count.
The action spills to the outside as Niven sends Jax through the barricade!!
Niven gets back in the ring and hits a Piper Bomb. Cargill comes back and hits a Jaded on Niven for the win.
Winner: Jade Cargill

Ms. Money in the Bank Naomi Talks About Her Win
Naomi is in the ring and talks about her briefcase win. She reminds fans that when she was chasing the Women’s title, it was Tiffany Stratton, who was in the way, distracting her with her Money in the Bank briefcase. But now, she holds all the cards.
It’s “Tiffy Time,” the Women’s Champion here!! Stratton says Naomi talks big, so why doesn’t she cash in now. She tells her that while she says she is new, she is still the old Naomi….all talk and no action and that’s why she never beat Nia Jax.

Naomi tells her that she won’t cash in now, but when she’ll least expect it. She says she will enjoy making Stratton’s life hell and says she advises her to proceed with caution.
As Naomi exits, Stratton is attacked by Jax. She fights back and takes out Naomi on the apron. Jax gets the better of her and drops her with an Annihilator. Naomi tries to get back in the ring as she looks to cash in her briefcase, but Jax warns her off for now.
Backstage, we see the various tag team wrestlers discussing who should take on the Wyatt Sicks. They argue with one another, before Nick Aldis picks Motor City Machine Guns for the match against the faction.
Motor City Machine Guns vs The Wyatt Sicks
MCMG are out first. The fireflies are out as the Wyatt Sicks make their way to the ring. We get Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy running to the ring as they quickly take out Alex Shelly and start working on Chris Sabin.
Dexter and Gacy isolate Sabin as they exchange tags and dominate the match. Sabin fights back sending them both outside before tagging in Shelly. They connect with baseball slide kicks as we had to a break.
We return to see Shelly tagging in Sabin, who takes out Gacy with a missile drop kick. He drops Dexter with a sling blade and then a kick for a two-count. Shelly tags in, and they hit Dexter with a double kick.
Dexter makes it to the corner and tags in Gacy, who takes out MCMG. Dexter gets back in, and Gacy drops him on Sabin. They get a two count.

Dexter Irish Whips Sabin, who baseball slides into Gacy and then tags in Shelly. MCMG double team Dexter and look to go for Skull and Bones, but Gacy breaks it up. A high-low combo on Sabin and they go for the cover. Uncle Howdy is giving instructions from the ringside.
Dexter drops a massive high flying leg drop from the top rope on Sabin for the three count.
Winners: The Wyatt Sicks
Backstage, Cena runs into Jimmy Uso as he is looking for R-Truth. He asks Jimmy if he has seen him, but Jimmy doesn’t give him anything.

John Cena is Back!!
John Cena is angrily strutting down to the ring. He tells the fans to shut up and says R-Truth crossed a line. He says there is a time to fight and a time to talk and challenges Truth to come out. *Cult of Personality* CM Punk is in the house!!
CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
CM Punk confronts Cena and tells him that he is talking about disrespect, but they haven’t even scratched the surface of the level of disrespect they can exchange. He says Cena should turn back and allow the fans to put him on a pedestal and give him the perfect send-off.
Cena says he won’t waste his time, and Punk tells him the disrespect will begin now. Punk calls out Cena for his attire, saying he looks like a toddler who struck out at T-Ball. Punk wants this statement struck from the record because he sounds like a PG John Cena. Punk also says Cena threatening to walk out with the title sounded like CM Punk.

Punk says he is making Cena’s title run interesting and saving his retirement tour. He calls Cena out for putting himself on the Mount Rushmore four times. Punk calls him the GOAT, but says Cena is the GOAT that he will spitroast and sacrifice at the altar of pro wrestling at Night of Champions. He tells Cena he would follow him to Mars to take the title off him.
Punk says he has always seen through Cena as he exits the ring.
R-Truth attacks Cena from behind and puts him in an STF as the officials pull him off.

Backstage, Alexa Bliss talks about winning the Queen of the Ring as Charlotte Flair interrupts her and says there is only one queen.
Charlotte Flair vs Alex Bliss vs Alba Fyre vs Candice LeRae (Queen of the Ring Fatal 4-Way First Round Match)
Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring first, as we head to another break.
Backstage, R-Truth is confronted by Nick Aldis, who asks him what he wants. Truth demands a match with Cena next week, and Aldis approves.
LeRae and Fyre attack Bliss and Flair. Flair quickly takes control and gets a quick cover on Fyre and then LeRae. She connects with chops on both stars, before Candice is able to knock her down.
Candice and Fyre work together to beat up Flair. Flair fights them off, but Bliss takes her out with a crossbody off the top rope. Fyre and Candice corner Bliss. Flair clotheslines Fyre for a two count.
Commercial break.
We return to see a tower of doom spot as Charlotte Flair takes the worst of it. Bliss quickly moves into a cover for a two-count. Bliss is fired up and takes down Flair and Fyre.

Candice catches her with a Codebreaker. Candice has the upper hand but she gets dropped by Fyre. The sequence ends with Flair dropping Bliss with a Natural Selection and locks in a Figure Eight.
Candice launches herself onto Flair with a springboard lionsault. Fyre kicks Candice to the outside and drops Flair for the cover, before Bliss breaks it up.
Bliss hits a DDT on Fyre and heads to the top rope and connects with a Twisted Bliss. She goes for the cover….1…2…and Flair pulls her away. She boots Bliss to the outside as Candice rolls her up for a two-count.
Flair hits her with a spear….1….2 and Candice kicks out. Fyre attacks Flair, but gets put into a Figure Eight. Just then, Candice makes her way into the ring, but Bliss catches her with a Sister Abigail and gets the three count as Fyre taps out just after that.
Winner: Alexa Bliss

Backstage, Cody Rhodes runs into CM Punk. Rhodes tells him that they can’t run away from each other forever. Punk wishes him good luck and says after Night of Champions they’ll see who is chasing who.
Rhodes is out next.
Cody Rhodes vs Andrade vs Damian Priest vs Shinsuke Nakamura (King of the Ring Fatal 4-Way First Round Match)
We return from the break to see Nakamura already in the ring. Andrade makes his way to the ring followed by Damian Priest.
We get underway as Nakamura slides out of the ring, but Rhodes surprises him with a dive! Andrade then takes out with a dropkick. Priest and Andrade fight off in the ring as Rhodes comes back in.
Priest drops Andrade with a Broken Arrow and gets a two count. Rhodes clotheslines Priest to the outside, but Priest pulls him out. Nakamura dives onto Priest as all three men brawl. Andrade takes the advantage and hits a moonsault from the top of the post on the floor.

We return to see Nakamura take out Andrade with a knee to his gut. He also sends Priest to the outside and starts stomping Rhodes into Bad Vibrations. Rhodes fights back and locks in a Figure 4, but Andrade comes off the top rope with a splash.
Priest attempts to go old school with Nakamura, but Rhodes jumps to the top rope, before and Priest is unable to capitalize. Nakamura locks Andrade in an arm-bar before Cody breaks up the submission.
Rhodes goes to the outside and takes out a table!! He looks to suplex Andrade from the apron, who fights back before Priest jumps on the scene. They decide to suplex Andrade, but Nakamura pulls him back and drops him with a suplex, before kicking Rhodes through the table!!

Andrade and Nakamura are battling at the top rope, before Priest gets back in the ring. Priest hits a slam on Nakamura, and Andrade hits a splash on him for a two count.
Rhodes is now making his way back into the ring. He hits a snap suplex on Priest and a Disaster Kick on Andrade. He goes for a Cross Rhodes on Nakamura, but he counters and connects with a Kinshasa”1…2…and Andrade saves the match.
Andrade with a running double knee to Nakamura. Priest and Andrade going at it as Andrade hits a spinning elbow, followed by the message as Nakamura breaks up the three count.
Andrade and Nakamura fighting it off as Rhodes hits both of them with a Cody Cutter.
Priest has Rhodes up for Razor’s Edge, but Cody jumps to the top rope and hits a Cody Cutter. He connects with a Cross Rhodes on Andrade and goes for another but Nakamura catches him.
Rhodes counters it into a Cross Rhodes for the win.
