Another WWE RAW Superstar may be placed on the shelf after suffering an unexpected injury during a match. Kairi Sane was facing off against one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan, who ended up getting injured mid-match.
Sane put Morgan in a type of a leg lock, where she ended up landing wrong on her right arm as she was trying to protect herself. The match was stalled for a while as the medical staff was taking a look at Morgan’s arm. She was then forced to forfeit the match and was taken to the back by the medical staff.
WWE ringside commentator Michael Cole later gave fans an update and revealed that Morgan had suffered a dislocated right shoulder. Morgan’s injury comes at an unfortunate time.
Liv Morgan’s Injury May Stall Championship Plans
Liv Morgan’s injury was clearly not a part of her plan, as she just had a segment with the Women’s World Champion IYO SKY to open this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. This segment would have likely led to a match between the two for the title somewhere down the line.

While speaking to the audience, Morgan mentioned her run-in with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella last week. Morgan said that Bella was disrespectful for not mentioning her among the other women who were changing the women’s division.
During Bella’s return to her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, the WWE Hall of Famer gave credit to Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, IYO SKY, and a few others but failed to mention Morgan, who made history with Raquel Rodriguez by becoming the first four-time Women’s Tag Team Champion. Morgan didn’t appreciate not being mentioned and gave Bella a piece of her mind. They would go on to exchange a few words before Morgan hit Bella with her signature move, the Oblivion.
As it was mentioned earlier, Morgan opened this week’s Monday Night RAW, and she called out the current Women’s World Champion, IYO SKY, to ask for a rematch for the title because she never officially got one. SKY told Morgan that if she wanted her rematch, then she had to earn it before hitting her with a dropkick. However, with Morgan’s new injury, her plans to go after SKY’s title may be put on hold.
