WWE RAW Fallout: Jey Uso Advances to King of the Ring Semi-finals, Real-Life Friendship at Risk

It was the main event of RAW, a Fatal 4-Way for the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. Three meaty men, with the likes of Sheamus, Bronson Reed, and Rusev, were up against the undeniable Jey Uso. One would think the strength of heavyweights would overpower the stardom of Uso, but this was not the case. In an electrifying wrestling match, Uso did win but there was some drama later to close out the show.

What All Went Down Before and After Jey Uso’s Win?

In the closing moments of RAW, Uso speared Reed and prepared for a high-flying Uso splash, only for Bron Breakker to interfere by shoving him off the top rope. The chaos escalated as Sami Zayn attacked Breakker, who retaliated by hurling Zayn over the announcer’s table. The action intensified when Penta arrived, taking out Breakker with a daring Tope Con Hilo.
Amid the mayhem, Reed executed a Death Valley Driver on Jey and ascended the ropes again, but LA Knight intervened, pushing Reed off. Seizing the moment, Uso delivered a superkick followed by a spear. He then climbed the ropes and connected with two Uso Splashes, clinching the victory.

Post-match, Seth Rollins stormed to the ring, confronting Jey in a tense standoff. Before the situation could escalate further, Cody Rhodes rushed down to the ring, coming face-to-face with Rollins. The two locked eyes in a dramatic staredown, but Rollins opted to exit the ring, avoiding further conflict.

In a show of respect, Rhodes extended a handshake to Uso, acknowledging his win. The segment concluded with the announcement that Uso and Rhodes would face off in the King of the Ring semi-finals on the next episode of RAW, setting the stage for another thrilling encounter in this high-stakes tournament.

Two Major Possibilities For King of The Ring Finals

It is tough to think that Cody Rhodes would be losing next week on RAW. However, to hype up the King of the Ring finals, some risks have to be taken. If such happens, then Jey Uso goes on to Riyadh and gets a step closer to his World Title match at SummerSlam. If this happens, it is bound that Sami Zayn will emerge victorious on SmackDown. After all, it’s The Bloodline lore and current close friendship that would be transformed into war.

However, the other obvious route goes through Rhodes’ win next week on RAW, which would have Randy Orton win the thing on SmackDown. Setting up a WrestleMania-level match at Night of Champions, that too for an opportunity for the title shot at SummerSlam.

Sure, there are two more options, Zayn vs. Rhodes and Uso vs. Orton, but they are seemingly out of the blue. The top two aforementioned options not only bring dynamic in-ring work but are also supported by great stories behind them.
