Van Dam had been married to Sonia Delbeck since 1998. The couple separated in December 2015 and were officially divorced in May 2018. Amidst his separation, he began dating fellow wrestler Katie Forbes in 2016. The duo got married in 2021 and have been often seen together on social media. With such great news coming for the Van Dam family, their next challenge as parents will surely be complex in its own right.

Rob Van Dam Has Been a Renowned Name in the Wrestling World

Rob Van Dam rose to prominence as a high-flyer during his stint in Paul Heyman’s ECW. After the promotion closed down in the late 1990s, Van Dam signed with WWE in the early 2000s. Much like he did in ECW, RVD accomplished multiple accolades in the Stamford-based promotion and had an incredible run.

His most memorable match in WWE came at the 2006 ECW: One Night Stand event. Van Dam cashed his Money in the Bank contract to face John Cena for the WWE Championship at the Hammerstein Ballroom, the original home of Extreme Championship Wrestling. With the fans on his side and a timely assist by Edge and Paul Heyman, RVD dethroned Cena to become the new WWE Champion.

His accomplishments were immortalized in history when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2021. Furthermore, in recent years, he has made appearances for top brands like AEW, WWE, and more. Mr. Monday Night even wrestled on a few occasions. With RVD set to become a father now, it remains to be seen if he will continue his wrestling endeavors in the future.
