‘TKO Is So Greedy’ – WWE Fans Outraged Over Ticket Prices For WrestleMania 41 In Vegas

WrestleMania 41 is around the corner, and many exciting matches have been announced for the major event. While fans are eagerly awaiting the thrill, they are also voicing their frustration over the expensive tickets.

Fans Call Out TKO for High Ticket Prices

The average single-day ticket price for WrestleMania in 2023 was around $171. A few months after the event, UFC and WWE merged to form TKO Group, bringing significant changes to the company. One major shift that fans noticed was the sharp increase in ticket prices for WrestleMania 2024, which climbed to an average of $341.

This year’s WrestleMania, scheduled for April 19 and 20 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, is even more expensive. A combo ticket starts at $700, and when factoring in travel and accommodation, the cost can easily surpass a grand per person.

Due to these high prices, many fans who had initially planned to experience the event live are now opting to watch from the comfort of their homes.

As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ticket sales have been lower compared to last year. As of now, roughly 46,000 and 47,000 tickets have been sold for Night 1 and Night 2, respectively. It’s much less than the company distributed last year and many believe that the increased ticket prices are affecting sales.

Fans have taken to social media to express their dissatisfaction, comparing this year’s ticket costs to previous WrestleManias. Some have even labeled TKO, WWE’s parent company, as greedy.

Some fans are pointing out the decline in ticket sales and hoping the company will take notice and lower the prices for next year’s WrestleMania.

“Hoping this makes them lower ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 in New Orleans. Had to cancel my Vegas plans when tickets dropped—these are Super Bowl prices. Way too rich for my blood,” wrote one user on X.

    WrestleMania 41 Match Card

While several matches are yet to be officially confirmed, six bouts have already been announced:

    1. Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship
    2. IYO SKY (c) or Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s World Championship
    3. Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship
    4. Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for WWE Women’s Championship
    5. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
    6. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens

As confirmed on the March 28 episode of SmackDown, Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins will headline Night 1. While John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship will main event on Night 2. Despite this exciting lineup, ticket sales don’t seem impressive and fans continue to criticize the WWE for the expensive tickets.
