Tiffany Stratton was attacked on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Her assailant was none other than her former friend Nia Jax, whom she betrayed to win the WWE Women’s Championship. The Irresistible Force was absent from WWE for a while. She was last seen on WWE TV on WWE Elimination Chamber when she teamed with Candice LeRae to face Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus in a tag team match.
Nia Jax Is After Tiffany Stratton’s Title
Tiffany Stratton put her WWE Women’s Title on the line against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41 Night One. After a grueling bout, she won the match and retained her belt.
Another female superstar who tasted victory at The Showcase of Immortals this year was Jade Cargil. Cargill defeated Naomi and got her sweet revenge for attacking her backstage in November 2024 and robbing her of many months of action.
The two females locked horns in a singles match on this week’s edition of SmackDown. But the referee had to rule out the match as a no-contest as Naomi attacked the ex-AEW star. When Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill were down and out, the fans saw Naomi come out to the ring and launch a series of punches on Cargill, who was already exhausted from the bout. She then threw her on the ring post multiple times.
The Buff Barbie managed to chase away Naomi but got blindsided by a returning Nia Jax, who took out the champion with an Annihilator and then picked up the WWE Women’s Championship belt, hinting that she’s returned to go after the women’s gold.
Fans React to Nia Jax Returning on SmackDown
The WWE Universe was taken completely by surprise when Nia Jax made her shocking return to the ring. Fans, filled with excitement and disbelief, rushed to X (FKA Twitter) to express their reactions to her comeback on SmackDown.

In mid-2024, Tiffany Stratton formed an alliance with The Irresistible Force. She also won last year’s women’s Money in the Bank contract. On the January 3, 2025, edition of Friday Night SmackDown, she turned on her friend and cashed in her contract to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
