WWE has been presenting a new series, ‘Legends and Future Greats’, on A&E, to scout the next generation of talent for the global juggernaut.
The reality series came to its conclusion recently and was celebrated with the unveiling of the new WWE LFG Championship. However, upon its revelation, the fans could not hold back on social media and expressed their views about the title.
Fans React to the Unveiling of the WWE LFG Championship
The finale of the WWE LFG series took place on May 18. The new champions of the show for both the Men’s and Women’s sides were crowned. To celebrate their victory, WWE NXT SVP Shawn Michaels brought the new LFG championship belts.
The championship belt was designed similarly to the current version of the Undisputed WWE Championship, with a few alterations. The WWE logo’s slash was green to reflect the LFG and the show’s logo on the left side of the main plate, slashing a part of the main WWE logo.
After the 2011 WWE Hall of Famer revealed the new championship belts, the fans exploded with their views on social media. However, the majority of the comments called for the fans to ask WWE to upgrade the design.
A particular section of fans tried to turn the WWE’s attention to the UFC championships which had different designs for most of their titles.
“Could’ve made it a little bit diff similar to how these two are,” a fan commented.
“You’ve seen the ufc belts right?” another fan commented.

Another section of fans wanted WWE not to make similar titles and try out new designs for new championships. This came as the LFG title allegedly looked much like a rip-off of the Undisputed WWE title, suggesting that the company was not investing time in the design of their belts.
“It’s just copy and paste,” a user posted.
“for f**k sake DESIGN A NEW BELT,” another user implored.
“I hope they know this design is TEN YEARS OLD,” a fan remarked.
Comments expressing their approval for the design were far and few, hence, it remains to be seen whether WWE will make any alterations to the design.
