John Cena closed out this week’s episode of SmackDown. He showed up to address fans and run down his Backlash challenger, Randy Orton. However, a fan decided to take things a little too far when he threw a beer bottle at the Undisputed WWE Champion.
Cena proceeded to shrug the moment off, but WWE had other plans for him. In newly-emerged fan footage, we can see the fan throwing the bottle and getting kicked out of SmackDown.
What Happened To The WWE Fan Who Threw Beer Bottle At John Cena?
As the SmackDown Ring Announcer Mark Shunock introduced John Cena, the beer bottle was flung at him. The Champion paused the announcer as he threw the bottle out of the ring in a casual demeanor. Another fan footage from the opposite side of the cameras showed WWE security immediately escorting the fan out of the arena as soon as the incident took place.

It is highly likely that WWE will ban the fan for life from all their events. They have been very particular about such incidents being dealt with this way. The company has prohibited all offenders who misbehave at WWE events.
One has to applaud John Cena for taking the unexpected incident like a champ and proceeding to continue his promo like it was nothing. He addressed the incident in his promo, mocking the WWE Universe for reducing themselves to such moments. The Last Real Champion improvising this well is a testament to his unparalleled greatness.
John Cena Gets RKO’d Again Before Backlash
John Cena just can’t seem to escape being RKOd. Before this week’s episode, he had already been dropped by Randy Orton twice. This week, it was another RKO for the 17-time World Champion, but it came after a decoy attack that caught him off-guard.
Towards the end of Cena’s promo, a masked person appeared behind him, trying to land an RKO. However, the alert Franchise Player reversed this attempt into a huge Attitude Adjustment. He was smug after landing his finisher and failed to note that the man he dropped was not The Viper.
This mistake cost Cena as he celebrated what he thought was the end of Orton. His Backlash challenger emerged behind him and dropped him with an RKO to close out the show.
