It appears that Joe Hendry may not be the only wrestler who could move to WWE while performing for another promotion. Hendry competed at WrestleMania 41 and defended his TNA World Championship against NXT star Trick Williams. After losing to Williams, he could be up for a run on the main roster, as WWE has been impressed by his in-ring and promo skills.
However, another viral sensation might join the former TNA World Champion in WWE.
WWE Impressed By Mr. Iguana After Worlds Collide
A couple of days ago, WWE hosted its first joint event with AAA, after the deal between the two sides at WrestleMania 41. Worlds Collide took place at Kia Forum in Los Angeles just a few hours before Money in the Bank, where several AAA superstars made their first appearance in front of a WWE audience.
One of them was Mr. Iguana, who teamed up with Octagon Jr. and Aero Star to face the LWO and Lince Dorado in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.
It appears that his performance got high praise from WWE executives, fans, and superstars, and the company teased some future appearances for him during Monday Night RAW in Phoenix.

Mr. Iguana Could Show Up On WWE NXT Soon
Superstars from TNA have appeared on NXT as part of the company’s partnership with WWE, and the same is expected to happen with AAA superstars.
Mr. Iguana should be among the first Lucha Libre wrestlers who will show up on NXT, tyring to make an impact on the main roster.
“In addition, [Fightful was] told he was popular among the WWE roster as well. When WWE seated him behind commentary, we’re told he was approached for dozens of photos. WWE higher ups we spoke to said that Mr. Iguana was a “pleasure” and happy to do any and all promotional work they needed,” Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported after Worlds Collide.
The question is what he could do on NXT and whether WWE Creative plans to have him as a special attraction or on a full-time run in parallel with his appearances at AAA. Mr Iguana could even team up with Hendry and go after the NXT Tag Team Titles.
WWE could provide more hints going forward regarding Mr. Iguana’s status, as the latter got high praise from WWE fans during the Money in the Bank weekend.
