WWE released a behind-the-scenes video from WrestleMania 41, where superstars offered a spectacular show in front of more than 123,000 fans in Las Vegas.
The behind-the-scenes happenings were equally fascinating. Some candid moments in a footage released by WWE are stealing the show. Let us take a look at some of them.
Bron Breakker and Randy Orton’s Segment
Bron Breakker and Randy Orton had a backstage segment at WrestleMania 41, where the two superstars exchanged compliments. The Dog praised The Viper for his physical shape, calling him a ‘monster’, while the 14-time World Champion was also impressed by the former Intercontinental Champion being in great shape.
Randy Orton jokingly called himself and Bron Breakker a ‘functional illusion’. The two superstars could cross paths on RAW and SmackDown, especially if Orton becomes the new Undisputed WWE Champion at Backlash.
Becky Lynch and Kevin Owens Reunite at WrestleMania 41
Becky Lynch made an impressive comeback at WrestleMania 41. The Man joined forces with the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria and defeated Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Meanwhile, The Man reunited with Kevin Owens backstage right before her entrance, with the Prizefighter asking Lynch if she was ready for her major comeback. Becky Lynch jokingly told Owens that if fans started booing her, he should go out and support her.
Becky Lynch came back for the first time since June 2024 when her contract expired. She was a surprise entrant at WrestleMania 41 and replaced Bayley, who got injured at ‘Mania as a result of a backstage assault.
Lynch teamed up with Valkyria at WrestleMania 41, but then turned on her on RAW after ‘Mania. The Man turned heel and will now go after the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion, setting the stage for a title match at Backlash.
Dominik Mysterio Celebrates Winning the Intercontinental Championship
Dominik Mysterio made history at WrestleMania 41 after winning the Intercontinental Championship. Dirty Dom survived a Fatal-4 Way match against Penta, Finn Balor, and the former champion Bron Breakker.
It was the first singles title for The Judgment Day leader, who was seen celebrating in the post-show press conference as well as backstage in the building. Mysterio has been one of the top heels in WWE and it will be interesting to see what WWE Creative plans for him going forward.
On RAW after ‘Mania, Dirty Dom defended his title for the first time and beat Penta with help from Carlito, Finn Balor, and a returning JD McDonagh. Still, the expectation is that Finn Balor will turn on Dominik Mysterio after the latter pinned him at WrestleMania 41 to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
Stone Cold Steve Austin Praises the Women’s World Champion IYO SKY
IYO SKY triumphed at WrestleMania 41 when she defeated Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair in a Triple Threat Match to retain the Women’s World Championship.
The leader of Damage CTRL had a backstage segment with WWE legend and Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin, who praised her for the great work she does in WWE. After her title defense at WrestleMania, IYO SKY shifts her attention to her next opponent.
On RAW after ‘Mania, the reigning NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer stepped up and challenged her to a match, with NXT star Roxanne Perez assaulting her during the match.
Rhea Ripley came to IYO SKY’s aid and saved her. She also sent a message to the reigning Women’s World Champion that she was coming after her for the title.
Other interesting segments included the presence of The Undertaker and a backstage segment between CM Punk and Michael Cole.
The Best in the World main evented WrestleMania for the first time in his career, but lost to Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat match following a betrayal by Paul Heyman.
Punk was furious after what happened at ‘Mania and will be out for revenge on Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman on Monday Night RAW.
