‘The Internet Is Not Real-Life’ — Triple H Fires Back at Online WWE Trolls

WWE CCO Paul Levesque, known as Triple H during his wrestling days, keeps his eyes and ears open when it comes to the audience’s opinion about the company. However, the Cerebral Assassin did not hesitate to fire back at detractors who spread negativity via the internet.

Triple H Says That Internet Trolling Is Not a Part of Real Life

During a recent appearance on the podcast “Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant with Akaash Singh,” the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame inductee addressed the online WWE trolls. Triple H believed that fans who complained on the internet were not a part of real life after witnessing what goes on in a real-life WWE arena.

Triple H cited the example of Cody Rhodes, the face of his WWE regime. He has seen fans chant for him loudly, buy his merchandise, and get captivated every time he steps into a WWE arena. However, the people on the internet, according to him, were a few people who just wanted a platform to express unnecessary hate.

“The internet is not real life and the b****ing and the f***ing complaining that is on there is not real life. You could read the internet, and it’ll sound like this thing is dead,” the WWE’s chief content officer said.

“I’ll use Cody as the example: ‘Cody’s already jumped the shark; he’s dead as a babyface.’ He goes, ‘Really? I don’t know, I’m in an arena with 10-15,000 people every night going ape s** for me, selling the most merchandise,’ but sure whatever you wanna say on the internet, that’s the golden rule — it’s just opinion of a few people.”

Triple H has been concerned about the audience that has poured their heart, souls, and money into WWE for years. So, some internet trolls may not be on his radar or stop him from continuing to take WWE to unprecedented heights.

Triple H Is Set To Present 2nd Wrestlemania Under His WWE Regime

After Vince McMahon left WWE in 2024, Triple H and Nick Khan took over the reins of the company. They produced WrestleMania 40, which was the regime’s first Mania and was highly successful in terms of every business metric.

The Game’s leadership is now gearing up to produce its second WrestleMania this year. It will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20, with production going on in full swing. Moreover, Triple H has assembled stacked match cards for both nights, which were officially unveiled recently.

Moreover, Triple H himself will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025, making it doubly special a week for him. So, it will be interesting to see how he and his regime pull off one of the most exciting WrestleMania weeks of all time.
