Stephanie McMahon’s Prank on Triple H Almost Backfires at a WWE Show, The Undertaker Bears Witness

Stephanie McMahon pulled off a prank on her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque at a recent WWE show that nearly got her escorted from the building.

New Show For Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon’s new show “Stephanie’s Places” debuted on ESPN+ earlier this year and featured multiple episodes with different WWE superstars including some interesting, never seen before behind-the-scenes content.

In the latest episode, Stephanie McMahon had an interesting interaction with Triple H as the Undertaker also took part during the show.

The Prank That Could’ve Gone Wrong

As Triple H and WWE officials looked to be preparing inside the arena for an episode of Monday Night RAW, Stephanie entered the arena from up high in a Batman-like attire with the Undertaker by her side, calling for Triple H’s attention.

However, Triple H was initially annoyed as he thought a member of the crowd was just trying to provoke him. “The Cerebral Assassin” later called security to intervene, only to find out that it was his wife, Stephanie.

“Do you not hear fans yelling at us over here? Maybe that’s a security thing” Triple H said. “I don’t know why the f—ing fans are yelling at me. Oh! It’s Steph!”

Triple H With Work To Do

After a successful 2024, the WWE Universe is starting to criticize Triple H’s booking this year following a slightly underwhelming WrestleMania 41. The recent showdown between Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Randy Orton at Backlash was also met with negative responses.

Cena retained his title after interferences from R-Truth and WWE officials amid chaos inside the ring. However, Triple H believes the match delivered beyond his expectations and explained why he was happy with it.

“For me, I was fortunate enough to be there as they were both coming in the door, and I was able to sit and watch them do that from 2001 forward all the way to today, I’ve seen a lot of that,” Triple H said in the post-Backlash press conference.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one where I felt like, ‘Eh.’ Ever. It’s just that level of talent between the two of them. They have incredible chemistry. They know each other inside and out. When that happens, you get what you saw here tonight — 25 years later, magic.”

The former multi-time world champion also expressed his delight and praised both individuals for their in-ring work.

“I just watched that match — however long they went, I don’t know, that was 40 minutes or something like that — I just watched that entire thing with this huge smile on my face. So proud of both of them, of the careers they’ve created, and the stars they’ve become. Just awesome.”
