R-Truth Steals The Spotlight During Money In The Bank After Reported WWE Exit

WWE’s Money in the Bank is a night where the focus is supposed to be on the future, as two WWE Superstars secure future World title shots at any time, any place, for up to a year. However, the WWE Universe was looking back at the past as they continued their support of R-Truth.

Fans chanted, “We want Truth” throughout the entire night, with notable moments taking place during the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches. It proves just how popular the wrestling veteran is, with fans making their opinions heard to WWE management.

WWE Fans Continue to Ambush Shows Over R-Truth

WWE shocked the wrestling world by opting not to renew R-Truth’s WWE contract, even though he is a beloved veteran who was just involved in a major storyline against John Cena.

Or did they?

When reports came out earlier this week that R-Truth would not have his contract renewed, the WWE Universe had been fighting R-Truth’s corner, making it evident that they’re unimpressed by WWE’s decision to allow the multi-time 24/7 champion to leave the company.

They have had #WeWantTruth trending on social media regularly since that point, often ambushing any type of promotional post that WWE or Triple H has attempted to make on X in a bid to let the company know their thoughts.

That’s something that has bled into WWE’s televised episodes the past couple of weeks, with both WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown featuring “We want Truth” chants, and WWE Money in the Bank continued that trend.

The lights are at their brightest during a WWE premium live event, which made this the ideal time for fans to fight for R-Truth, and that’s exactly what they did. The chants took place at several points throughout the show, including during the two ladder matches.

The WWE Universe Wants R-Truth Back

The one thing that has become abundantly clear is that the WWE Universe wants to see R-Truth get re-hired, even if it might make WWE look foolish for changing their mind so quickly.

But perhaps it was all a work the whole time.

At the end of the main event tag team match between John Cena/Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes/Jey Uso, a man dressed in all black with his face covered came from the crowd and started to attack Cena.

After a few seconds, he took off his mask and standing tall in the center of the ring was R-Truth. He then proceeded to hit Cena with the championship belt. Rhodes cleaned it up and pinned Cena for the win.

What’s next for R-Truth? It remains to be seen, but it looks like his future in the WWE is nothing like we all thought, even just a few hours before Money in the Bank started.
