At the same time, R-Truth called the 17-time World Champion his ‘childhood hero’ and created another viral moment in his WWE career.

R-Truth had the fans buzzing on SmackDown during his backstage segment with the new Undisputed WWE Champion Cena. Calling Cena his ‘childhood hero’ led to fans reacting to that age twist, since R-Truth is 53 years old and Cena is 48.

John Cena set for title defense against Randy Orton at Backlash
Cena and Randy Orton have re-ignited their feud and will collide for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Backlash. The Viper assaulted Cena on RAW after ‘Mania, and the two megastars had another confrontation Friday night on SmackDown.
Orton challenged Cena to a title match at Backlash, and WWE made the match official. It will be the final chapter on the rivalry between the two superstars as Cena retires at the end of the year.
Backlash will take place in The Viper’s hometown of St. Louis on May 10, and it will be interesting to see whether he will dethrone his rival less than a month after Cena claimed the title at WrestleMania 41.
Cena and Randy Orton have faced each other 21 times in WWE, as their rivalry started nearly two decades ago. The Cenation Leader has won 13 of the 21 matches, and the two WWE legends will collide for a 22nd time on May 10. Cena, meanwhile, will return to SmackDown in two weeks, right before Backlash.
