Nikki Bella’s first opponent for a Premium Live Event match has reportedly been revealed following her grandiose return on Monday Night RAW.
Nikki Bella’s Surprise Return
Bella made her surprising comeback at the start of the year after showing up at the women’s Royal Rumble match. While many fans thought it was a one-time appearance, it seems the former WWE Divas Champion is set for more dates this year.
In the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, she returned once again and announced the return of WWE’s all-women Premium Live Event, Evolution, for the first time since 2018. However, her statement was cut short by Liv Morgan.
Morgan came out, confronted Bella, and started provoking the latter by saying that she was jealous of her. Morgan attacked Bella and delivered her finishing maneuver, “Oblivion,” to end the segment.

Match Set For Evolution
Just hours following RAW, a fresh report came out confirming that the aforementioned segment was only the start of a new rivalry for Bella. According to Ringside News, Morgan and Bella could be set for a program at the upcoming Evolution 2 Premium Live Event set to take place next month.
“A backstage source has confirmed to Ringside News that Nikki Bella and Liv Morgan “are starting a program,” and that this angle will likely lead to a match at WWE Evolution in Atlanta,” the report said.
“The current plan isn’t fully locked in, but one option being considered is a tag team bout involving Liv and Raquel Rodriguez defending the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Nikki and a returning Brie Bella,” it added.
Feud Timeline
A match with Morgan may not be the only plan in sight for Bella. Multiple news outlets online have also suggested the possibility of a tag match in the near future. In addition, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships could also be on the line, with Raquel Rodriguez also taking part in the feud.
However, questions remain over who Nikki’s partner could be, and there could be hints over a potential reunion for The Bella Twins, with Brie Bella’s name being discussed. “[The Bella Twins reuniting] would build it up, if it’s going to be on Peacock, that would build it up even more,” former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci said via “The Last Word” podcast.
“People want to watch the two Bella sisters back together after how many years, against Liv? And nobody sells better than Liv and Raquel in the ring for putting over the talent. It’d be a good match.”
