After Nikki Bella, Another WWE Hall of Famer Set To Come out of Retirement

Nikki Bella made her long-awaited return to WWE on the most recent edition of Monday Night RAW, but she was quickly confronted by Liv Morgan. Morgan took the spotlight away from Bella and made sure she was able to get a thing or two off her chest.

One half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions has been all over WWE programming recently, with a major match lined up at Evolution 2 — the promotion’s second all-women pay-per-view event.

Liv Morgan’s Promo Set Up the Return of Brie Bella

It should be no surprise that Nikki won’t be outnumbered for long. While Raquel Rodriguez and Morgan didn’t attack the two-time Divas champion, Nikki knows she stands no chance against The Judgement Day alone. Morgan and Rodriguez are on their fourth reign as tag team champions, something that The Bella Twins could only dream of.

While one could argue that they are past their prime, the Bella Twins still remain relevant in the world of wrestling. Nikki has been in the news for more than just her work in WWE, with a well-documented divorce and child support payments that will cost her $200,000.

Morgan didn’t hesitate to bring any of that up in her promo, as she made the most of her time on Monday Night RAW. She “laid out Nikki Bella” on national television, then proceeded to trash-talk her and her failed marriage.

“You are jealous of me because I have everything that you don’t,” Morgan said, via WWE.  “I have respect. I have a championship, and I have a man.”

Morgan’s words lit a fire under Nikki, who would love nothing more than to re-unite with her sister in the ring. Brie hasn’t stepped foot in a WWE ring since the 2022 Royal Rumble when she eliminated Nikki, only to see herself get tossed one minute later by eventual match champion Ronda Rousey.

Bella Twins Eyeing Reunion at WWE Evolution

TMZ reported that a reunion for the Bella Twins is indeed in the works, with the duo targeting a comeback at Evolution next month. While Nikki competed in this year’s Royal Rumble, she also hasn’t had a standard match since the end of 2018.

Evolution 2 is right around the corner, scheduled for July 13 in Atlanta, and it’s a show that Nikki knows a thing or two about. At Evolution 1, she unsuccessfully challenged Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship. It’s a match that doesn’t get the credit it deserves, as the fantastic Last Woman Standing match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair took place right before it, but Nikki held her own in the historic main event.

Women’s tag team championships were brought in after The Bella Twins stepped aside from the ring, but now they are back, and a Brie comeback makes complete sense. There’s no doubt that Nikki will want revenge on Morgan, and a potential 2-on-1 beatdown would lead perfectly into Brie’s return to the ring.
