It took a few months, but finally, Jey Uso is not the World Heavyweight Champion anymore. ‘The Main Event’ star rode along on his popularity and got a chance to win the Royal Rumble. Then at WrestleMania 41, he took down the then-champ, Gunther, with his YEETdowns, finally ending with a chokehold. However, it all came back to him when the same happened with him on RAW tonight, with only the roles reversed.
Gunther Is The New World Heavyweight Champion
Not exactly the opposite of WrestleMania happened, as Gunther was the one who infamously ‘tapped out’ there. However, tonight on RAW, Uso just passed out, trying not to submit. The ending sequence was tense, with both stars applying their chokeholds onto one another and thinking the other would tap/pass out. Gunther succeeded in it, though!

It was expected that a WM rematch being built up on a RAW in Phoenix needed something noteworthy to happen. The Ring General picking up the win was on the cards, but fans also predicted something along the lines of a potential Seth Rollins Money in the Bank cash-in. Nevertheless, the show still ended on a high with Gunther becoming the two-time World Heavyweight Champion by dethroning Uso.
