Former WWE star Sasha Banks, now known as Mercedes Moné has been on quite a run since leaving the Stamford-based promotion. She has won multiple titles in various promotions and has wrestled all over the world. Moné is also the current TBS champion in All Elite Wrestling.
The CEO is set to face the AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm at the upcoming PPV All In: Texas and can stake the claim for the most dominant female wrestler today with a win. Apart from changes in her professional career after exiting WWE, Moné has also turned a new chapter in her personal life.
Mercedes Moné Dating Fellow AEW Star
According to a report from TMZ Sports, Moné is dating fellow AEW star The Beast Mortos. The two AEW stars had the fans excited when Mortos posted a photo of him with Moné on his Instagram story from Mexico with the caption, “en tus brazos encuentro paz” … which translates to “In your arms I find peace.”
Adding to the buzz, Moné reposted the same photo to her Instagram stories. TMZ’s report later confirmed, “The words certainly insinuated love was in the air… Moné confirmed to us they are indeed dating, describing it to us as ‘a real beauty and the beast situation.’
This update comes nearly a year after The CEO filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Sarath Ton, following eight years of marriage.
Mortos has been signed with AEW since 2024 and also works with its sister promotion, Ring of Honor. The Mexican pro wrestler has been competing mainly on Collision and has been involved in a feud with Hologram.
