Liv Morgan is Going to Hollywood, Officially Leaves WWE Raw

Liv Morgan is officially Hollywood bound! The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion will bid adieu to the WWE Universe for a while as she embarks on a new journey. During the April 28 episode of Raw, Morgan reached out to stand-in GM Nick Aldis to request a time off.

Liv Morgan granted WWE time off for Hollywood, but not Dominik Mysterio

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who is filling in for Raw GM Adam Pearce, was talking to AJ Styles in his office backstage. Their conversation hadn’t ended, but Liv Morgan barged into the room flanked by Raquel Rodriguez and ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio.

Without wasting time, Morgan went straight to the point. She said, “Oh Nick, I am so sorry to tank the ratings on Raw but I am going to need some time off cause I am going to be filming a big Hollywood movie.”

Aldis happily obliged, “Yes, I am aware. Congratulations, it sounds very exciting. We are very pleased and as far as I am aware, all the paperwork looks good.”

While Liv Morgan got what she wanted, ‘Dirty’ Dom did not. He requested time off and was instantly denied by Aldis. Mysterio believed being a champion allowed him to take time off whenever he pleases. Little did he know, being a champion doubles the responsibilities.

Aldis then asked the Judgment Day trio to leave, as he was in the middle of a conversation with AJ Styles. Mysterio took this opportunity to throw shade at The Phenomenal One and asked if they’re talking about finding a retirement home. His comments rubbed Styles the wrong way. The former WWE Champion got into Mysterio’s face, but Liv Morgan intervened and took him with her.

After the trio left, Styles turned to Aldis and said he had an idea to which the General Manager replied, “I think I know what you mean.” Perhaps, an Intercontinental Championship feud in the works? Likely so.

Hollywood debut set for the former Women’s Champion?

While the project is set to a big one, it technically won’t be her Hollywood debut, as she already did that in 2023. Morgan played the character of Emma, an art purist in The Kill Room (2023) starring Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson.

During the filming of The Kill Room, Morgan suffered a shoulder injury while filming stunts. Despite the setback, the former Women’s World Champion did not hamper her dreams and ambitions. With WWE’s blessing and Dominik’s love with her, we are certain her time off for filming a Hollywood movie will be worth it!
