Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross: From Backstage Warfare to In-Ring Match
This was just another one in a series of backstage confrontations between Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn, where the top merch seller wants Zayn to embrace the dark side. Kross hinted at Zayn’s guilt over his past involvement with The Bloodline, suggesting that it clouds his decisions.
Sami Zayn has been standing strong against Kross, refusing to turn to the dark side and staying true to himself. As Cathy Kelly was interviewing Zayn backstage, asking him about the King of the Ring tournament, Karrion Kross appeared. He called Zayn “an insane person,” stating that they do the exact same thing every day, expecting a different result.
Kross made bold predictions about the future of Sami Zayn as he said he is going to lose to “one of the most diabolical person this business has ever seen, a man who knows how to win matches, The Viper Randy Orton.” Adding to this, Kross said “You are going to stay at zero,” triggering Zayn.

Listening to the RAW Superstar, Zayn didn’t hold back as he called him a “coward,” saying, “you hide here in the shadows and talk riddles, and you don’t go out there because all the big talk you do, maybe you cannot back it up.”
Zayn made it very clear that the King of the Ring tournament is his priority right now. But he threatened Kross, saying, “the second I’m done, I’m going to Adam Pearce, and you and me are going to have this match once and for all.”
This segment has got the WWE Universe very excited. The fans have been waiting to see Kross back in action for a long time.
