John Cena has been on a mission to make 2025 historic for his career, both inside and outside of WWE. The Cenation Leader clinched his record-setting 17th World Championship at WrestleMania 41, which cemented his status as the ‘Greatest of All Time.’ Weeks later, after his memorable night in Las Vegas, Cena etched another accolade to his resume, but outside the global juggernaut.
Which Accolade Did John Cena Claim Outside His Wrestling Forte?
According to a recent report by Deadline, Cena’s upcoming film, ‘Coyote vs. Acme,’ will be available in the Cannes Market for international sales. The movie will be a live-action adaptation of the popular cartoon series featuring Coyote and his archenemy, Roadrunner. This makes it one of the few studio-level projects available for purchase in Cannes.

The report also added that Grégoire Melin’s Paris-based Kinology will be the agent to execute the international sales for Ketchup Entertainment. The company bought the worldwide rights to the film from Warner Bros. Lastly, footage of the film will be available for the buyer, and a screening is also expected to take place.
This marks another impressive record involving Cena. Alongside the 17-time WWE Champion, the movie will star Will Forte and Lana Condor. The plot revolves around Wile E. Coyote seeking legal justice with the help of a lawyer who sues Acme Corporation for its failed products that Coyote had used in his pursuit to capture Road Runner.
Forte will play Coyote’s lawyer, while Cena essays the role of his former boss. The film will also explore the relationship between Forte’s character and the popular cartoon character, making it a compelling entertainer for the audience.
