WWE fans have been witnessing much chaos surrounding the United States Championship, which currently rests on the shoulders of Jacob Fatu. The Bloodline member is heading into Backlash for a high-stakes Fatal Four-Way match, where his title will be on the line.
This Friday, just a night before the scheduled championship bout, Fatu sent a clear and loud message to his opponents. But that message may have also provoked someone close—his cousin, Solo Sikoa.
Jacob Fatu Denies Solo Sikoa’s Gameplan
The Samoan Werewolf is set to make his first title defense this Saturday at Backlash against LA Knight, Damien Priest, and Drew McIntyre. These four superstars and Solo Sikoa, who isn’t in the match but is constantly involved in the chaos, have been lighting up SmackDown episodes.
The Street Champion is currently aligned with the US Champion, but whether that’s helping Fatu or making things worse is definitely up for debate. On the May 8 episode of SmackDown, Priest and Knight teamed up to kick off the show, facing off against Fatu and Sikoa.
Knight picked up the win by pinning Sikoa. But after the match, tension rose between him and Priest as they exchanged blows. Just when things were getting out of hand, Fatu stepped in, attacking both of them. But the chaos didn’t end there.
As The Samoan Werewolf stood tall, holding his title, Drew McIntyre suddenly appeared and delivered a brutal Claymore Kick to the champion. McIntyre held up the title, showing one of the four possibilities for Saturday night.
Later in a backstage segment, Sikoa told his cousin that they’re out of soldiers and need a game plan for Backlash. But Fatu, who has been disagreeing with Sikoa more and more lately, shut him down again. The champion made it clear that he doesn’t need a plan—he’s ready to destroy his three opponents on his own. That refusal didn’t sit well with Sikoa, who once again looked disrespected.

Did Solo Sikoa Hint at Jeff Cobb’s Debut?
Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are both out of action due to injury, and The New Bloodline really needs more soldiers. Sikoa knows it. Whether Fatu admits it or not, The Problem might be planning to bring in some backup—and that name could be Jeff Cobb.
Cobb recently parted ways with NJPW and is rumored to make his first appearance in WWE this Saturday. With tensions between Fatu and Sikoa rising week after week, fans are speculating about a possible betrayal. But instead of turning on Fatu, Sikoa might surprise everyone by strengthening The Bloodline—possibly by introducing Jeff Cobb.
