Everything You Need to Know About WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2025

WWE Backlash may have only just taken place, but the next special event right around the corner is WWE’s Saturday Night Main Event.

SNME was brought back last year by Triple H with WWE working hard to ensure that it’s going to be a night to remember.

Tickets, Date, Venue, Prices

WWE’s Saturday Night Main Event will be taking place this coming Saturday, May 24, 2025, from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The show will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock in the United States, while it will be on YouTube in most international markets rather than Netflix, as it isn’t classed as a true premium live event.

There are tickets still available for purchase, including floor-level seating. Prices range from $178 – $932, with a range of seating options at the moment.

Announced Matches

So far, four matches have been confirmed for the upcoming show, featuring many of WWE’s biggest stars with some brilliant storylines set to be brought to life. Jey Uso will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul, who has been making his life miserable ever since he won the title at WWE WrestleMania 41. Paul has regularly jumped Uso with cheap attacks, building himself up to this point.

WWE’s other World Champion, John Cena will also be in action as he competes in a singles match against R-Truth. The title won’t be on the line in this one, but ena will be aiming to end Truth’s obsession with him once and for all.

Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker will also be aiming to continue their new partnership as they join forces to face CM Punk and Sami Zayn, who have been trying to take down Paul Heyman’s new group lately.

The final confirmed match will see Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest compete inside a steel cage as they try to settle their issues once and for all.

Full card:

  • Jey Uso (c) vs. Logan Paul (World Heavyweight Championship Match)
  • John Cena vs. R-Truth (Singles Match)
  • Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk & Sami Zayn (Tag Team Match)
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest (Steel Cage Match)

History

WWE’s Saturday Night Main Event is a historic event for WWE, with this originally being a series of television specials that the company produced for NBC. It originally ran from 1985 – 1992 and proved to be a huge ratings draw at the time.

The show was originally filled with squash matches that featured some of WWE’s most iconic stars such as Hulk Hogan, but nowadays they are filled with competitive matches involving the biggest names in WWE.

Triple H brought the event back in 2024, including original commentator Jesse Ventura, and it has continued to run since then with a throwback feeling for each show.
