Cody Rhodes is the undisputed face of the WWE today. He is the top baby face in the company, the WWE Champion, and a massive draw. Indeed, he has conquered the peaks of the world of professional wrestling.
In the past, top WWE stars like The Rock made the switch to Hollywood and established themselves as bankable actors. Rhodes was asked if he would ever consider it, and he had some interesting things to say.
Cody Rhodes on debuting in Hollywood
The American Nightmare talked about his Hollywood aspirations, affirming that he was interested in appearing in movies. He cited The Rock, John Cena, and Batista as inspirations, stating that their paths to Hollywood were all cool.

“I love what Rock has done, I love what John has done, and Dave Batista as well. All of them have gone different routes when approaching Hollywood and I think I might be next to join the fray in all that”

The Undisputed WWE Champion certainly has the chops for the silver screen. We think his amazing mic skills and ability to convey emotion and resonate with fans bode well for a Hollywood career. Indeed, with many likening his appearance to Homelander from ‘The Boys’, there is a strong case here.
Cody Rhodes’ battle with a Hollywood actor
Funnily enough, Rhodes’ WrestleMania 41 match is against John Cena, someone who has successfully made the jump to Hollywood. Cena is a bonafide movie star, starring in the likes of the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, ‘Peacemaker’, ‘Ricky Stanicky’, and many others.
Having won the Elimination Chamber match, the Franchise Player won the right to challenge Rhodes for his title at WrestleMania. At the same PLE, Cena shocked the entire world by selling his soul to The Rock (another Hollywood star, wow). This kicked off a heated rivalry between the two megastars.
Recently, the 16-time World Champion and Cody traded blows on the mic. They held nothing back, with Cena burying Rhodes for not being on his level and Rhodes countering with Cena’s hypocrisy. With just two weeks left until ‘Mania, this Night Two main event will be fireworks.
Earlier, Cena had declared that he would “ruin wrestling” by becoming a record-breaking 17-time champion and leaving WWE with the title. As such, Dusty Rhodes’ baby boy has to save his title and the company from the hero-turned-villain.
