Bianca Belair May Have Suffered a Gruesome Injury at WrestleMania 41

Bianca Belair had a rough night at WrestleMania 41 Night Two on Sunday (April 20) as she failed to win the Women’s World title from IYO SKY in a Triple-Threat match, also featuring Rhea Ripley.

It also marked her first pinfall loss on The Grandest Stage of Them All, adding a blemish to her undefeated streak, which commenced at WrestleMania 37 in 2021—Belair headlined her first Mania match on the main card that year against Sasha Banks. The EST was not seen on “Monday Night Raw” the night after, but Ripley was there to have SKY’s back against NXT stars Giulia and Roxanne Perez.

Possible Reason for Bianca Belair’s Absence on Raw Revealed

Bianca Belair won the 2025 Women’s Elimination Chamber, thus becoming the new number one contender to the Women’s World title of Raw. However, WWE still recognizes Belair as a part of the “Friday Night SmackDown” roster. While she could be featured on SmackDown’s fallout edition this Friday, perhaps her absence on Raw was due to an injury she sustained at WrestleMania.

“Fightful Select” news contributor Sean Ross Sapp has reported that sources within WWE are worried Bianca Belair has suffered an injury to a couple of her fingers during her Triple-Threat match on Sunday.

Belair’s loss to The Genius of the Sky on The Grandest Stage of Them All has raised curiosity among fans as it remains unclear whether she continues on SmackDown or moves to Raw. On the Blue Brand, the EST was part of a high-profile storyline—Jade Cargill vs. Naomi—from which she pushed the eject button upon scoring a title shot.

The former Women’s Champion’s involvement was further teased on the go-home episode on April 18 as Cargill and Naomi confronted her. With a readymade storyline for Belair on SmackDown, it’s possible she stays put.

Bianca Belair Maintains Her Innocence in the Jade Cargill Attack

In November 2024, Jade Cargill was found brutally assaulted on the broken windshield of a car backstage. It was revealed at Elimination Chamber 2025 upon The Storm’s return that Naomi was behind the attack. The Glow would later admit she did it, but defended her actions. She claimed it was for Belair as Cargill was holding The EST back. At WrestleMania 41 Night One, Jade Cargill defeated Naomi in a singles match.

There have been audible boos from fans directed at Belair on television during the build-up to WrestleMania, but she has maintained her innocence. She says she had nothing to do with the attack, and Naomi acted on her own. This is an interesting angle for WWE to sink their teeth into for the next couple of months, if that is where the company is heading.
