The WWE Universe was stunned as their favourite female wrestler returned to the ring on May 9 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. This happened during the match between Zelina Vega and her mystery partner against The Green Regime’s Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Fans leaped to their feet as the multi-time Women’s Champion made her entrance.
Zelina Vega’s Mystery Partner on SmackDown
The mystery partner for the match was revealed to be the 9-time WWE Champion, Alexa Bliss. The whole crowd started cheering for their favourite as she made her way to the ring.

This was her third match since her return after the two-year break at Royal Rumble 2025. She had a match against Candice LeRae on February 7 edition of SmackDown and the Women’s Elimination Chamber 2025. Her return was highly anticipated before Backlash weekend.
The Tag Team Match Between Zelina Vega and Alexa Bliss vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven
The match saw dominance from the Women’s US Champion Zelina Vega and Alexa Bliss, with these two landing punches and kicks on their opponents. For a moment there, Vega was stuck in the ring and the crowd was cheering “We want Bliss,” suggesting a tag.
As Bliss came in, she dominated Green. Niven was interrupted by a pin from Bliss, which led to Vega delivering a Code Red on Niven. Soon after this, Bliss landed her special, Sister Abigail DDT on Green, securing victory.
Alexa Bliss’s surprise entrance as Zelina Vega’s mystery partner sent shockwaves across the wrestling world. The fan-favorite star was speculated to be added to the Wyatt Sicks faction but it is not completely out of consideration.
