Determining 3 Possible Outcomes for WWE Money in the Bank

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is shaping up to be a major turning point. So far, four matches are confirmed: the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches, the women’s Intercontinental title match, and a blockbuster tag team bout pitting John Cena and Logan Paul against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.

As the weekend approaches, anticipation keeps building. The winners of the ladder matches earn a title shot any time they want. Here are three possible outcomes to watch.

Tag Team Chaos at WWE Money in the Bank

Fans are hyped for the tag team clash between Cena and Paul vs. Rhodes and Uso. This rivalry heated up after the events of Saturday Night’s Main Event and the May 30 episode of SmackDown. Rhodes stopped Cena’s plan to “ruin wrestling” by helping Uso in his title defense against Paul.

On the latest SmackDown, things got physical, with Cena and Paul walking out of the ring.

The tag match at MITB could see interference from the outside — potentially from Travis Scott, even — helping Cena and Paul pull off a win. Or Rhodes and Uso could win clean, forcing Cena to face the consequences of his recent actions.

Men’s WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Five names are locked in as of now for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match: Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Penta, and Andrade. The sixth spot will go to the winner of a triple-threat match between CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano on June 2 episode of RAW.

If Sikoa wins, he could bring the world title back to The Bloodline. A surprise cash-in on Uso would shake things up on RAW.

Meanwhile, if Knight gets the nod from WWE, this could finally be his big break. Then there’s Rollins, who’s claimed he wants to “fix” WWE — winning the briefcase could be the first step in that direction.

Women’s WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Alexa Bliss, Giulia, and Naomi have already punched their tickets to the women’s ladder match. The final participant will be decided in a triple-threat match between Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan, and Ivy Nile.

Bliss, a former MITB winner in her own right, has teased a cash-in on Tiffany Stratton, similar to her 2018 moment against Nia Jax. Perez is the underdog, but if she pulls off the win, it would echo IYO SKY’s 2023 run.

Meanwhile, Ripley brings experience and momentum. She recently spoke about “reaching the top” during Netflix’s “Tudum” event, and winning the briefcase could help her do just that.

Money in the Bank could trigger major changes across WWE. With surprise outcomes and instant title shots on the table, this year’s event has the power to reshape everything.
