Paige Bueckers Features in Latest Commercial With WNBA Legends Even Before Entering the League

Paige Bueckers is having a fantastic month in April. Fresh from winning the NCAA championship with her UCONN Huskies this past Sunday, she is on her way to being the number one pick of the upcoming WNBA Draft on April 14.

Paige Bueckers’ Stars in Ally Bank New York Commercial With WNBA Legends

Not even having touched a WNBA court yet, Bueckers is already rubbing shoulders with some league legends. She was recently featured in a commercial for Ally Bank New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart and Indiana Fever guard Sydney Colson. In the commercial, Stewart and Colson give Bueckers the nickname “Buckets” while shooting basketballs into a giant bucket.

Like Bueckers, Stewart also came into the league from UCONN and is already one of the greatest players to ever play in the WNBA. Not only is she a four-time champion at UCONN, but Stewart is also a two-time MVP and three-time champion, most recently winning last year with Liberty.

Colson is more of a veteran presence in the league. Still, it carries her cache, winning two championships with the Las Vegas Aces and an NCAA championship with Texas A&M University in 2011. It is rare to see a talent like Bueckers be put into a spotlight with stars like this without having played a minute of pro basketball yet, but it looks like the WNBA does not seem to mind.

Even before entering the league, Bueckers has been a marketing presence for major brands like Nike and Gatorade. She carries an advertising clout that only Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark can match. Her presence in campaigns like Ally Bank signifies more than just an endorsement deal; it highlights the immense anticipation surrounding her upcoming WNBA career.

Brands are taking notice of Bueckers on-court talent, charisma, and rich backstory following injuries early in her collegiate career. She is not just seen as a future WNBA star; she is already a bankable personality commanding attention comparable to established pros like Stewart, Colson, and Clark.

The Dallas Wings hold the number one pick on Monday, which will only elevate Bueckers into superstardom, the likes of which we may never have seen in women’s sports. Dallas is not just drafting next-level basketball talent; they are drafting a cultural force.

Bueckers is a player whose commercial appeal and star power are already proven on the national stage, ready to make an immediate impact on the court and the league’s growing popularity.
