Clark shared an Instagram story featuring a portrait of her golden retriever, Bella.
In the post, she announced Bella’s death, a difficult moment for the Indiana Fever star. Clark had previously honored her pet by customizing a pair of Kobe PEs with details reflecting Bella’s appearance. She wore the shoes this past season against the New York Liberty, underscoring the affection she had for her companion.

“We are gonna miss you puppy. Gave us so many good memories,” Clark said in her story post.

Bella held deep significance for Clark, as the golden retriever had been part of her life since her teenage years. Moving forward will be difficult, but she will likely reflect on the many cherished memories shared with her companion.
Clark has completed two seasons in the WNBA with the Fever. She has earned two All-Star selections, a spot on the All-WNBA team, and the 2024 Rookie of the Year award, along with the assists title.
However, 2025 presented challenges for the star guard. She only played in 13 games, as injuries ended her campaign early. She averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and five rebounds in the contests she played.
Despite her absence, the Fever persevered, making an incredible run in the playoffs. They reached the semifinals before falling to the Las Vegas Aces in five games.
