Caitlin Clark Breaks Silence on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Plan to Attend an Indiana Fever Game This Season

Caitlin Clark gave a rare update on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s whereabouts and addressed their potential appearance at an Indiana Fever game.

Speaking to Meg Hall of USA Today in an interview this week, Clark was asked whether Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce plan to attend one of her games this season. While Clark’s response didn’t confirm anything, it did offer insight into where Swift and Kelce stand right now.

“Oh gosh, I don’t know. I mean, I hope so,” Clark said. “I feel like they’re also living — they’re in vacation mode right now. So I hope they enjoy a nice little break out of the spotlight. But I’m sure they’ll be cheering for the Fever either way.”

Clark and Swift first crossed paths last November when Clark attended back-to-back nights of the Eras Tour in Indianapolis. She later told Time that Swift sent her four bags of merch and a handwritten note. In it, the singer wrote that she and “Trav” were excited to see her play once the tour wrapped.

The connection deepened in January. Swift invited Clark to the Chiefs’ AFC Divisional Round matchup against the Texans at Arrowhead Stadium. The two were seen cheering together from a private suite and shared a hug after Kelce scored in the fourth quarter.

Kelce recapped the moment on his “New Heights” podcast, saying, “Saw Caitlin Clark there, got to meet Caitlin Clark. She’s awesome, she loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city, and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart.”

Clark echoed the admiration for the pop singer during a May 14 appearance on ESPN ahead of the season opener. “She (Taylor Swift) loves the Chiefs just as much as I do. I’m talking football with her … probably one of the sweetest people I’ve ever been around,” Clark said. “She just treats everybody with the same amount of kindness, and her family was great.”

The couple has stayed under the radar since the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIX loss to the Eagles in February. Their most recent public appearance was on Mother’s Day in Philadelphia, where fans spotted them at Talula’s Garden. Swift was seen smiling in a floral tank top, while Kelce looked noticeably low-key with longer hair and a quiet demeanor.

A source told Life & Style that the duo is not currently engaged but remain serious. “Travis is ‘The One,’ and Taylor is going to marry him. It’s just a matter of when,” the source said.

On “New Heights,” Kelce hinted that they may be living together during the offseason. “We’ve got chimneys and we’ve got furniture,” he said, a nuanced hint that fans took as a sign he and Swift are sharing space in Florida.

Whether they’ll make good on their promise to attend a Fever game remains unclear. But according to Caitlin Clark, the support is there either way.

“I’m sure they’ll be cheering for the Fever,” she said, “even if they’re doing it from vacation.”
