As fans missed watching the WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark after clocking out of five games due to her injury, her teammates missed her, too! The feeling of missing out was bothering Clark as well, though, and she is pretty vocal about it.
She uploaded a picture of her tightly hugging her teammate, Aliyah Boston, on Sunday, showcasing that the longing feeling isn’t lost!
No Love Lost Between Caitlin Clark & Aliyah Boston
After a five-game hiatus, Clark brought along her offensive best to help the team win against the reigning champions, Liberty, 102-88. And that wasn’t the only thing she brought. She also brought along her love and camaraderie for Boston.
Both Boston and Clark put up a strong display as soon as they were reunited, all smiles, leading the team back to glory. Clark’s loving picture was a reminder of that. And the caption of the image was endearing too. She wrote, “Missed my dawg,” and went on to tag Aliyah’s official handle.
Boston, too, was quick to respond to Clark’s heartwarming post. The Fever Center quickly re-shared Clark’s story on her own profile, adding a cherishing response. “Missed you more babes,” Boston wrote.
Upon returning, both Boston and Clark delivered standout performances to end Liberty’s unbeaten streak this season. While Clark missed out on a triple-double, Boston recorded a double-double. Clark tallied 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists, along with a steal and two blocks in 31 minutes on the court. Boston, on the other hand, added 10 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks in 30 minutes.
Together, they led one of the strongest fronts Fever has seen in some time.

Off the court, the world has come to see the best of Clark and Boston’s bond as soon as the former stepped foot in the league. They don’t leave any moment to appreciate each other’s presence and uplift each other.
Be it Instagram captions, posts, hugging, or leaving her signature Wilson basketballs in Boston’s locker, Clark and Boston have been redefining friendship.
The 23-year-old Clark is a cornerstone of the Fever franchise. Even as she skipped the opening preseason game because of mild tightness, she returned for her season debut on May 17. And she came with a bang, recording a triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
On May 24, Clark sustained a strain in her left quadriceps, pushing her to rest it out since May 26, missing almost two weeks. She began limited practice just recently but made her big comeback on Saturday. Due to her absence, Indy’s roster depth was deeply tested, but Boston, the 2023 Rookie of the Year and a two-time All-Star, managed to hold the fort, elevating her game.
