Caitlin Clark Shares Bold Reaction to Tyrese Haliburton in Pacers’ Stunning OT Win vs. Bucks

In one of the most electric playoff finishes of the season, the Indiana Pacers rallied for a heart-pounding 119-118 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks to clinch their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series on Tuesday night in Indianapolis. It was a game that had everything — drama, intensity, and a final dagger from Indiana’s rising superstar Tyrese Haliburton, who poured in 26 points.

But beyond the box score, what caught the attention of fans across social media was a bold reaction from Indiana Fever standout and basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

Caitlin Clark Shares a Bold Reaction to Tyrese Haliburton’s Gameplay

Clark took to Instagram after the game and reposted a video of Haliburton’s game-winning layup — the shot that sealed the Pacers’ Game 5 victory and advanced them to the next round on her Story. But she didn’t just share it; she added a cryptic string of hush emojis, which can be seen as a confident nod to Haliburton silencing any doubters.

But that wasn’t the only social media activity from Clark that caught attention. A fan-shot video from inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse showed the Fever guard and her teammate Lexie Hull in the stands, reacting live to the thrilling conclusion.

Clark, who has quickly embraced Indiana as home since being drafted No. 1 overall by the Fever last season has been a constant presence throughout the Pacers’ playoff run. She has attended every postseason game in Indianapolis, with the exception of Games 3 and 4 in Milwaukee, often sitting courtside and supporting the team alongside Fever teammates.

As for Haliburton, he’s been nothing short of sensational in this year’s playoffs. The All-Star guard has averaged 17.6 points, 11.6 assists and 6.4 rebounds per game across the five-game series, providing the leadership that Indiana needed to get past a tough Milwaukee squad.

Clark’s reaction is more than just a social media moment; it’s a reflection of a shared culture and energy building in Indiana basketball. Now Haliburton and the Pacers squad will be meeting the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Conference Semifinals on Sunday, May 4.

Caitlin Clark’s Message for the Pacers Squad

If you thought Clark posting Haliburton’s game-winning layup on her Instagram story was the end of her support for the Pacers, then you are wrong.

After the thrilling Pacers win, Clark was seen courtside cheering on the squad. But it didn’t stop there—during a post-game interview, she took a moment to give the team their flowers.

“It was crazy, I was down in the tunnel watching. I had to go look at the ESPN win probability after that… One of the best finishes I’ve ever been a part of. The Pacers are so fun to watch. It’s been incredible to see the state rally around them and how they support them, and also how they support us and how the two teams support each other,” said Clark.

As the city of Indianapolis rallies behind both its men’s and women’s squads, Clark now shifts her focus to bringing that same energy on the court. Clark will don the Indiana Fever jersey for the first time on the court this year during their preseason game against the Washington Mystics on Saturday, May 3.
