The inaugural season of the Unrivaled league was nothing short of exciting. And among the biggest storylines was the journey of Rose BC, a team that started slow but finished as champions, proving that resilience is key. After a rocky 1-4 start, Rose BC clawed its way back, finally breaking even on Feb. 21 before surging into the finals.
Rose’s championship-clinching win over Vinyl BC was the perfect end to a dramatic season. While many expected Angel Reese, the teamās headline-grabbing star, to make a celebratory post, it was her teammate, shooting guard Kahleah Copper, who stole the spotlight with a simple, relatable request.
Kahleah Copper Took to Social Media To Share Her Request
After the championship win, Copper took to X to share her straightforward wish with fans. In a world where athletes often celebrate with flashy purchases or bold statements, Copperās five-word request, “I wanna go on vacation rq..š„¹,” hit home for many.

Copper played a key role in Rose BCās championship run. Averaging 16.6 points and 6.6 rebounds, the 30-year-old proved to be a strong scorer and playmaker. However, she, along with Reese, did not play in the final game of Unrivaled.
One major advantage of playing in Unrivaled? The contracts. Unlike the WNBA, where top players often go overseas for bigger paychecks, Unrivaled offers financial incentives that keep elite talent on home soil. Copper reportedly made $220,000, which was the average salary for the three-month season, and also earned $50,000 for winning the Finals.
She would have made another $200,000 if she had won the 1-on-1 tournament, but she lost that to Allisha Gray of Lunar Owls. Still, with her bank account solid and a championship ring in hand, Copper is more than ready for a well-earned getaway.
The six-footer averaged a career-high 21.1 points, along with 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 2024 with the Phoenix Mercury. With the WNBAās 2025 season set to tip off in May, a quick break from the grind could be just what Copper needs to stay at the top of her game.
For now, fans can only guess where sheāll go. Whether itās a beach or a quiet retreat, one thingās clear — Copper has earned every minute of it. But right before that vacation request, she called out her Rose BC teammate in a lighthearted way.
Copper Calls Out Angel Reese for Causing ‘Trouble’
As mentioned earlier, Copper and Reese formed a strong duo during the inaugural Unrivaled season. Their on-court chemistry led to success and helped Rose BC win the title.
Their friendship took a playful turn when Copper posted a celebratory photo on Instagram holding the Unrivaled trophy with the caption, “Against all Odds..š¹.”
WNBA stars filled the comments with congratulations, but Reeseās comment got extra attention. After being drafted by the Chicago Sky in May, Reese tried to recruit Copper, writing, “we can win another one in Chicago if you trynna run this back again im just saying.”
The playful pitch caught fansā attention and sparked more discussion among players. Seeing the reaction, Copper jumped on X to jokingly call out Reese, saying, “Angel starting trouble šāāļø.”
The moment caught the eye of another WNBA star, Satou Sabally, who had just joined the Mercury on Feb. 2. Sabally jokingly replied to Reese, “@angelreese5 no she’s fine,” making it clear she had no plans to lose her new teammate.
The Sky happened to trade Copper to the Mercury in February 2024, while Reese joined the WNBA a few months later. Their chemistry in Unrivaled shows why Reese wants a reunion in the WNBA, but whether or not that happens, their friendship keeps fans watching.
