The Maryland Terrapins are focused on winning it all, as they just advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. The Terrapins advanced on a clutch game winning shot from Derik Queen, who is one of the top NBA draft prospects in the tournament.
This Maryland team boasts a lot of great talent, which is why they were ranked 4th in their bracket. Ja’Kobi Gillespie, Selton Miguel, and Rodney Rice were key contributors in the victory over Colorado State, as the Terrapins survived 72-71.
Another star that made an impact in this game was Julian Reese, who finished with a double-double, supplying the Terrapins with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Reese, the younger brother of Angel Reese, made some headlines following this game because of her sister.
Angel Reese Makes A Request Ahead Of The Sweet 16
The Sweet 16 will start Thursday in San Francisco at the Chase Center, and Maryland will have a tall task ahead of them. The Terrapins will play the Florida Gators for a chance to advance to the Elite 8. This will be their toughest task this far, as some experts have the Gators as favorites to win it all.
Angel Reese is usually in attendance to support her younger brother, and she took to Twitter to ask for some assistance prior to the big weekend. Reese wanted to get a Sweet 16 shirt to support her brother and asked Twitter to help her find it.
I need somebody make me a Sweet 16 shirt to wear for my brother game thursday! Thank yaaa😘

Can Maryland Pull It Off Against Florida?
The younger Reese sibling will surely be ready to play when the time comes Thursday, but the Terrapins have their biggest challenge thus far. The Florida Gators are currently the No. 1 seed in this bracket of the tournament, which has Maryland listed as the underdogs heading into the game.
Queen, Reese, Rodney Rice, and the rest of the Terrapins will have to come with their best to advance. Perhaps having his older sister in the building will motivate Reese and his teammates to play their best game yet.
Will the Gators continue on their path to NCAA dominance? Or will the Terrapins find a way to upset one of the tournament favorites? Angel Reese will be in attendance, and the world will be watching.
