Hull Joins Unrivaled History as Rose BC Claims First Title

Hull and Rose BC made history by winning the inaugural Unrivaled League championship on Monday (March 17), defeating Vinyl BC 62-54 in the title game.

Though Hull played only four minutes in the championship match, her impact throughout the season was evident—averaging 6.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game off the bench. Her defense and three-point shooting even earned praise from WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.

Reese, who dominated the league with historic performances—including a 22-point, 21-rebound game on Feb. 21—was sidelined for the playoffs after suffering a hand injury in the regular-season finale. Despite missing the championship game, she remained a key figure, earning Defensive Player of the Year honors and a spot on the All-Unrivaled Second Team.

Rose BC powered through the playoffs, taking down Laces BC in the semifinals before Chelsea Gray and Brittney Sykes led them to the title. Gray shined with 18 points and eight assists, winning Unrivaled Playoff MVP, while Sykes sealed the victory with a clutch layup and free throw.

Reese, unable to be on the court, made sure to join in on the celebrations, FaceTiming her teammates as they lifted the trophy. Now, with Hull earning her first championship, the Fever guard’s Unrivaled journey has only just begun.
