Coming off a National Championship win, Will Howard credits his family’s support as a vital element in his successful collegiate run. His parents, Bob and Maureen Howard, recognized and nurtured Howard’s athletic abilities right from his childhood, instilling a passion for football.
“My support system always is my family. I lean on them for a ton of different stuff,” he said, according to People Magazine. “When I went out to Kansas State as an 18-year-old kid, [my mom and dad] came out there a lot. They helped me a lot.”
As the top offensive tackle prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, Howard is now passing on that same passion and commitment to hard work to his younger brother, Ryan Howard, alongside being an inspiration to his sisters, Grace and Tori.
Here is everything you need to know about Howard’s siblings.

Who Are Will Howard’s Siblings?
Bob and Maureen Howard are parents to four kids: Will, Ryan, Grace, and Tori. Will, 23, is the oldest among the four.
Will’s brother Ryan was born on June 8, 2005, which makes him about 20 years old. Growing up together, Ryan was quick to catch on to his brother’s dedication to the sport and likely decided to follow in his footsteps by kickstarting his college career with the Kansas Wildcats after his impressive high school varsity career.
As an offensive lineman from Downingtown West High School, and coached under head coach Mike Milano, Ryan was ranked the 54th-best offensive tackle in the Class of 2024 by ESPN.
The school records ranked him as the 16th-best overall prospect in Pennsylvania after he earned first-team all-state honors as a junior from PA Football News and Pennsylvania Football Writers.
As a business administration major, Ryan is redshirting his freshman year at Kansas State and has yet to see any action on the football field. There is not much information available on their sisters, Grace and Tori.
Will Howard’s College Career and NFL Outlook
Growing up in Pennsylvania, he attended Downingtown West High School, where he was named the Maxwell Football Club Pennsylvania Player of the Year in his senior year. Ultimately, the quarterback finished high school with 5,308 passing yards and 48 touchdown passes.
As a three-star recruit, the quarterback committed to Kansas State among the 20+ scholarship offers he received. Howard played for the Wildcats for three seasons and started a few games in both his freshman and junior seasons. For his senior year and final year of eligibility for the NFL, Howard transferred to Ohio State, where he led the Buckeyes to a National Championship win in the 2024 season as their starting quarterback.
In the three years that Howard played with Kansas State, the QB had to constantly compete for the starting QB role. In his freshman year, he was the backup to starting quarterback Skylar Thompson, but started the final seven games since Thompson suffered a serious injury.
Howard concluded his freshman season with 90 completions on 168 pass attempts for 1,178 yards, eight touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 364 yards and three touchdowns.
The following season, Howard again served as Thompson’s backup. After that, history repeated itself: In 2022, Howard took over the starting role after QB1 Adrian Martinez suffered a serious injury.
Howard transferred to Ohio State in 2024 and was named the immediate starter. There, the QB completed 309 passes from his 423 attempts for 4010 yards with 35 touchdowns for 10 interceptions.
Heading into the 2025 NFL Draft, Howard is viewed as an OT with elite arm strength and proven wins in high-stakes games, making him a top-5 prospect in this draft.
PFSN’s scouting report describes Howard as “Armed with a cannon and a compact release, Howard looks the part when you simply watch how he throws the ball. His improved accuracy down the field in 2024 is encouraging, as it allowed him to maximize what he brings to the table in terms of arm talent. From a team perspective, his growth from being a 3-7 starter through his first two years to a national champion is remarkable.”
PFSN’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft predicts Howard to get drafted by the Seattle Seahawks.
